We think these knives were a super buy. The blades are nicely balanced and wicked sharp. We like the smooth modern look. We did have to get a new knife block as these (and the Shun Chef's knife-both for Christmas) do not fit in my old ones. I got the Cook N Home Acacia Wood block from Amazon and It should fit all my knives in one block so a worthwhile upgrade-it's on the way so I'm not sure yet!

Review for: AmHoo Steak Knives Set of 6 Non Serrated 5-inch High Carbon Stainless Steel Ultra Sharp ABS HandleI like the presentation box, as I plan on giving them as a gift. They have a full tang, not just a partial one which leads me to believe that they will hold up to constant usage.I did not get the serrated version as I like to sharpen my knives. They feel nice in my hand; a substantial weight.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

I got these non serrated knives because the ones we had are serrated and I read that these can cut better without tearing the meat keeping more of the juices in steaks etc., and while they are sharp, and do work as intended, I did find they take more effort to keep nice. You really do need to sharpen them quite often for them to maintain that sharpness. Also they cannot go in the dishwasher and must be towel dried after cleaning, so there is quite a good amount of upkeep. I also did not like that they put their logo on the knife. I think it would look better if there was no logo. Other than that, they look very high quality, and have a nice weight to them. I like them alot and plan to keep using them, but just no that they do require much more maintance that a serated blade that is dishwasher safe.
