I liked how it worked. Loved the texture and water proofing for a floor outside

This is a great product. It’s easily applied and hardens sufficient to repel a rainstorm within an hour. I was worried about the coverage. The camper trailer I used it on for the roof with 7 feet wide and 22 feet long. I couldn’t see coverage statistics and lots of people had indicated to coats with necessary. I agree with the Two coats needed to sufficiently reseal a camper roof. This is easily accomplished with 1 gallon.

I have a 16x7 cargo trailer with a galvanized metal roof. I used 2 gallons of this product which covered the roof twice. Yes the first coat looked thin but the second coat turned out perfect. I also used 6 inch wide butyal tape on all of the seams before applying product. This product is amazing for keeping the inside of the trailer much much cooler. I'm very surprised at how much cooler it is on 85 degree days. Don't even break a sweat being inside working. The roof also has 2 inches of foam board insulation inside and is paneled. the walls have the same insulation and paneling. So it all works well together but putting 2 coats of this product on made the biggest difference of all. Highly recommend this product.

used a paint roller. easy to apply. the extent to which the underlaying material will soak up or repel the stickiness of the coating will determine how well and how long it will work. I coated an aging tarp. The material was beginning to wear, so the first coat soaked up and through. the tarp itself in some areas were very suspect. the coating went on fine, and it has added some life to the tarp. I expect the tarp will ultimately need replacing. Maybe this has given it s few more months of life. I imaging if used on other materials it will work well. Waterproof, and messy to use, but it works!

I used this product to cover a fairly large nearly flat roof with a second coat a couple of years after the initial base coat of 100% silicone. The application process went well enough with a roller brush & extension pole. The 5-gallon bucket had to be stirred for a while to get thoroughly re-mixed, but it's a necessity. Otherwise, it's been a good outcome so far (of course time will tell how well it holds up in the sun at 4,000 feet).

Our roof was leaking in two spots. The composition roofing isolder, and is worn in a few places. We used Elasto Barrier for theroof on our home in Pasadena, CA. We watched the instruc-tional video. We put Elasto Barrier down, and then put down theAmes roof fabric over the first coat. We then put down anothercoat of Elasto Barrier, and let it dry for a day. The Ames Maxi-mum Stretch was put down over the Elasto Barrier, and allowedto dry for about six hours.. It rained that night. I went up on theroof the next day, and the Elasto Barrier and Maximum Stretchhad washed off into white pools on the roof where pooled watercollects. We ordered the product by mail from Amazon, andmaybe the product was tampered with or was defective in someway. I would consider buying the product again, but only witha demonstration I can actually see.Our roof was leaking in two spots. The composition roofing isolder, and is worn in a few places. Perhaps you could find equal among similar costing products, but for me this product is tried and true. Sure you could buy paint for one third the cost, but what do you get: a lot of water added. Or at half the cost: less good adhesion, less good stretch, less good mildew control. This is a labor intensive project, so do yourself a favor and buy the good stuff you will be so much happier later on. Its the same old logic: good paint pays for itself. To apply, get a bucket, a short and long pole, a good ladder, a paint roller holder, several 1.5" nap roller, old clothes, a weather forecast, no trees dropping leaves or blossoms nearby; dump about a gal on the cleaned up roof surface and spread with the roller. Sure it says water clean up, but throw the roller away, think about throwing away the bucket too. Under perfect conditions, I accidently got a little of this on the aluminum siding and tried to scrub it off with a wet paper towel five minutes later unsuccessfully, this stuff really dries quick and sticks good. It requires sunshine to activate, so make sure its a sunny day, you might even have to swap rollers if it dries on the roller during a long hot day. This is plastic paint, so expect to do at least two coats and repaint your roof every eight years to continue protection. Applied properly and enough, this will stop leaks, significantly cool your roof temperatures (the difference between applying the first and second coat is extremely big~you will be able to sit comfortably on your roof after applying this.), reduce wind damage (my neighbors have had two new roofs, while I am just recoating mine), delay getting a new roof indefinitely (until you get to the point of the material underneath the roof decays if it was already exposed to water damage).
