I bought this ring because it was advertised to be 2.5" tall. The product details indicate it is 5.35' Diameter and 2.5" tall. It is, in fact, 5" in diameter and 1.75" tall. That's pretty standard "short" size. My toilet sits on a 3/4" hardwood floor above the toilet collar. This ring is way too thin to work. I wish all of the advertised wax collars indicated the actual height of the wax ring, this one is only 1-1/4". While this height is more than some, it will definitely not work over a hardwood floor. Returning it.

My flange was 4" and this was clearly too small and failed immediately. There is nothing written in the specifications to indicate compatibility with 3" or 4" flange. Now I need to go out and get a proper gasket AGAIN.

Excellent. Can't believe l had to get this from th US! Solved smelly toilet issue at my place in Seoul South Korea. They've never heard of wax rings here thus toilets stink when the flange doesnt sit 100% tight. And handymen here are mostly useless.
