We have used a number of differing soys, parafin and bees wax. This is the better of the soy blends for jar candles. long and clean burn time, better scent carry,

I've used a bunch of different waxes over the years to make candles and found this one to be the easiest to work with. Super happy with it!

I ordered this to make some candles for gifts. Easy to melt do to it being in little pellets. The wax is a good quality and holds scent good. Would definitely purchase again.

I have been making candles for about 8 years now. Use to use CB advanced, their prices went way up so, I tried this one. The first try I got bubbles and frost following their directions. So the second batch I heated the wax to 175, took it off, stirred in my scent and poured at 165. MUCH BETTER!! I was happy with the smooth surface as well as the cold and hot throw. I will be buying more. If the directions were correct and I didn't waste my first batch this would have been 5 stars. (heat gun helped first batch but still wouldn't sell them)

I've been using this specific brand of wax for almost a year now to make my container candles. After doing a bunch of research, I settled on American Soy: Midwest Soy Wax Beads because:1. it is microwaveable - as someone just starting out, I didn't have a double boiler and needed an easy way to melt the wax in a little pyrex cup2. it has an excellent cold throw - meaning you can leave the candle open and still smell the fragrance without lighting it3. it can hold a lot of fragrance - I like medium-strong candle scents, and the candles I make are quite small (3oz), so I wanted my little candle tins to pack a punch!4. it works fantastic for container candles!!! I've used this in ceramic, metal tins, and glass jars without issueOverall, this is one of the best brands of soy wax I've ever used (in my limited experience) and I'm excited to branch out and try their coconut blends! So much better for you than paraffin!!!

Arrived looking like a 45 lb bag of cement. You’ll need to find better storage. Perfect melts for candles.

We tried Maria blends and other manufacturers. We found this one to be the one that gives us the least amount of trouble. They have many different variations of the same mixes, but the prices are just about the best that we found. But in any case, the product works much better than almost every other one we’ve tried. We like the beads better than the flakes, superior productAlso, the turnaround time is relatively quick. With good planning on our end and very good turnaround time. We always have about a bag ahead.

So it’s my first time using soy wax and this wax seems to work great. I don’t know enough about different soy wax brands to give a in depth response in comparisons but this wax seems to work great! For first time candle makers I think this would be a great start on your soy wax journey. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. Happy making!!

I bought this as a beginner before reading any reviews. Also bought a pound of beeswax pellets. I proceeded to melt the entire 5 pound bag of this soy wax with the pound of beeswax together stirring throughout the entire melting process (Did this so I wouldn’t have to weigh each out separately when making a batch of candles). Brought it all up to 160 degrees F. All pellets melted, no foreign debris. I poured into muffin tins. No wax separation, no film, no clumps, all cakes were solid wax.First batch of candles. Brought up to temp, melted perfectly, added scent and color, stirred regularly, cooled and poured. Set beautifully in 48 hours. No caving, no sweating, looked great. CT & HT were ok, but I was cautious on scent quantity. Burn time on small mason jar, estimate 24 hours. So, not sure of all the negatives. This beginner had no issues with this wax. Loves it and will use again!
