MADE IN CHINA. Also the rope came frayed on the sides so when i went to crank on it, it didnt take much to break the rope.

Very difficult to operate....Little to no instructions.....in fact, the instructions are wrong to get it to release the strap to begin to use...

I received this item a day ago and it worked great until I went to lower the load and it would not release. The release would not engage so, had to use both hands to let it down, it is not bad enough to send it back but,for a person that expects it to work properly, it will not. Also, if you are expecting an American made because of the name American power pull, apparently it is supposed to be tested in America but made in china, sounds a a little misleading to me. Now the rubber grip on the handle is sliding off, every time you use the handle the grip slides off. I guess you get what you pay for.
