Plant looks terrible. Brown, dying leaves on all sides. This thing is now an eyesore in my living room, and it wont let me replace/return it.

Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I'm always objective and honest about the product or service. I review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!I've had great luck with many online plant purchases. I should have trusted my gut on this one but photos of healthy Corn Dracaena from the reviews swayed me to make the purchase. Much like the other recent 1-star review I saw, mine looked very similar as you can tell by the pictures. The only reason I didn't give 1 star was because it was shipped relatively quickly and the trunk seems to be healthy. Maybe, just maybe, the plant is salvageable but it looks like it will have to lose all its leaves. In my estimation this is cold damage. Furthermore, when taking it out of the pot, which was split, to replant it as quickly as possible to, hopefully, salvage it, half of the root ball was separated from the plant. It looks like it had been borderline abused in getting it into a pot for shipping. It's lacking most all of the secondary roots. Leaves are damaged beyond the ability of this Dracaena to repair itself. At this juncture, I will need to hope the trunk is healthy and will sprout new nodes but it may be 50/5 at best ... and it will be a long while until I have a healthy Corn Dracaena, it at all. Going to attempt a refund and will update based on what I hear from the vendor as to whether they stand behind their product.I have to agree with my fellow low-star reviewers. I wouldn't risk the purchase and won't again.

What a beautiful plant! I was in literal awe over how well packaged this beauty was! After trouble with UPS with other plants this past week I was so worried about this baby getting here(delivered my prior package to wrong house) but the attention to packaging even around the soil with bubble wrap protected this sweetie even in the frigid temps. Thank you so very much seller, I have no words to describe just how in awe I was, hardly anybody ever packages the soil which causes it to freeze and die during shipping, more sellers need to take note! Have wanted one like my grams had and now I do♥️ Also seller was quick to ship! I will have to repot soon since roots are peeking out the bottom but they look healthy! I did see it sold in a box store nearby for less but they didn't look as healthy as this specimen, so for me this gave me my money's worth. Will give a nice wipe down and there are some tears from I'm assuming the bamboo stakes but leaves look pretty healthy. Thank you seller!!! Will update if I find pests just so others know to treat, but I'm not too concerned with how healthy it looks.

The plant arrived in healthy condition. It’s a nice plant but nowhere near as mature as the pictures on Amazon, lacking the beautiful long glossy leaves that is the plant’s main aesthetic appeal. I think it will develop over time, but it will take time and proper care to get a mature plant. So just beware before you order, and don’t give this as a gift expecting it to look like it’s pictured.
