We have an organic fertilized healthy yard for our birds which brings the moles to eat earthworms. I've followed directions and placed Amdro in all the tunnels, recovering my opening not smashing it. So far so good. I've smelled what may be dead carcasses on occassion, but underground for about a couple hours sometimes. But at least I know they're already buried. This has to be applied if I see a tunnel break in the soil again.

Did the job on the second application. Bothersome pests under my raised veggie boxes are GONE.Easy to apply/distribute and very effective. Wore gloves and applied about a cup of granules right into animal hole. After 2nd application....no more animals invading my vegetable garden.

I don't know what works but I tried it all including this and it didn't work for me. My moles are maybe extra smart?

We've been using this product for several years and find that it's easy to use and works well. My wife and I never could figure out how to place the traps down into the tunnels, but this bate is easily inserted into the gopher holes with a spoon and covered with a brick. Unfortunately, due to what I believe are regulatory concerns here in the Nanny State, this bate is becoming a little more difficult to find. Thankfully, however, still easy to order online.

This product works pretty well, I don't always find the gopher's hole but when I see a mound, I dig there an place a dozen or so pellets. It seems to kill them in that I won't see any mounds for a while.

Poison pellets were spilling from package when it arrived. One of the 2 canisters of rodenticide was completely crushed and the poison pellets all loose in the packing box. The two containers were stuffed in packing box that was so small it would not close flat; it was taped shut with a domed surface. There was no room for packing material, nor were the containers wrapped in plastic or any other protective material. I did not realize the hazardous contents were spilling until it was already on my kitchen counter! I retrieved loose pellets but there is also the fine crumbs and powder loose on my wood food prep surface. How do I know if it is all gone? Who knows where else it spilled along the way!!! It was placed in my mailbox, so that was probably contaminated as well.I have received dvd's better wrapped than this HIGHLY TOXIC material. I contacted Amazon and was told a message would be sent to the distribution center, but there was no way to send an actual alert. Who knows how many of these packages will be leaking across the country.I am totally appalled at the gross negligence in handling this extremely dangerous material, and am considering notifying the Health Dept.
