I finished building out a new home server using this CPU. Much faster than my old (6 year+) AMD Clawhammer ... I purchased a new MSI motherboard as well..This CPU includes a CPU fan as well.Because I am not a gamer - I needed a CPU with built in graphics until I decide whether to buy a dedicated GPU.. This is adequate for editing photos, videos and viewing PLEX and YouTube content.

bought this instead of the Ryzen 5 7600 because I couldn’t get a discrete GPU yet. It was very easy to install. I used a third party cooler and it never gets above 55 degrees C. The PC doesn’t even get warm. I was able to play light games like Minecraft with shaders at high settings at 1080p 60fps. It actually runs Minecraft better than my old gaming laptop (8th gen i7 and GTX 1060 6GB). I was even able to get Marvel Rivals running with lowest settings and FSR upscaling at 1080p 50fps, although it looked a little blurry/shimmery. But if you’re just looking to jump into multiplayer PC gaming with some friends and can’t buy a GPU right now, this is an excellent option. I recommend at least 32GB RAM if you want to play games since the integrated GPU shares the system memory. Minecraft with shaders, 10 browser tabs, and discord were using about 28GB for me.

best CPU/iGPU value in the market, extremely under-rated.it's only zen 4 CPU cores, so is a bit behind the 9000x series zen 5 CPUs, but the IGP on this is much better.if you only care about CPU, a 9700x/9600x will be faster, but it's also much more expensiveif you care about CPU combined with iGPU performance, get this, and as an added bonus this is $80 cheaper.Strix halo will blow this away when it eventually comes out, and will likely be a lot more money.

You get what you pay for with this APU. It's more than capable for low-graphics light gaming and general tasks. Recommend this for people building a PC for a parent or grandparent who doesn't need something crazy but may require something more substantial than basic integrated graphics. The included cooler is more than sufficient. That said, enabling EXPO, which you should do, will significantly increase temperatures, but not enough to worry about. If concerned, pick up a Thermalright Peerless Assassin or Arctic Freezer 34.

Runs great, included cpu cooler is inadequate for any super intense gaming, runs most games without reaching max usage, great bang for buck.

I'll be honest, I wasn't planning to use the integrated graphics on this processor. However, my discrete graphics card was several weeks in shipping, and I ran on the Radeon 760M integrated graphics during that time and was really impressed! It's nice to know that when one of my kids gets this as a hand-me-down that they could use it quite happily without a discrete graphics card. CPU performance is good for the price, but I really love the DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 support that comes with the AM5 socket...not to mention that AMD is committed to release new Ryzen CPUs on AM5 through 2027 and beyond.

For the price this APU is incredible, it ran even triple a games well at low settings (with FSR occasionally being needed) and ran esport games like valorant, Fortnite, and CS2 really well at 1080p. Overall great option for a “game tomorrow” machine because of the graphics performance, flexibility for upgrades because of the AM5 platform, and ability to add mid-high end graphics cards in the future when it fits your budget.

I couldn't ask for anything better, really. A great CPU, great cryptomining performance for an APU, an iGPU that does really well with Full HD (1080P) playback, and runs under 40 degrees Celsius under (crypto) load with stock cooler. I paired it with 64GB of DDR5 and allocated 16GB of it to the iGPU. For a budget build that doesn't disappoint, this is the obvious choice.
