Built a storage server with this. Built in graphics save a PCIe slot. Not sure if my motherboard supports SR-IOV, but this processor has no trouble with I/O. There's enough processing power left to host Virtual Machines. I put 96 GB RAM and can run nearly all of my VMs if needed.

Ho acquistato questo processore per un amico assicuratore, cui serviva un PC veloce (per la tipologia di lavoro), silenzioso ed efficiente. L'ho montato due giorni fa con un alimentatore da 500W, 18 giga di DDR4 ed utilizzando la scheda video integrata, con un SSD semplice SATA.Per testarlo ho installato linux Mint e andava a meraviglia, qualsiasi cosa caricassi i processori non andavano mai oltre il 10%, il caricamento dei programmi velocissimo. È un processore ottimo se si usa internet, office, un programma di fotoritocco, video, applicazioni ministeriali, e tutto il software classico da ufficio. Ottima la scheda video integrata.Il Benckmarck di questo processore è intorno a 20000, consuma pochissimo, la ventola in dotazione non si sente!(Occhio solo ad una cosa quando montate la ventola, il logo AMD montatelo sul lato senza memorie altrimenti da fastidio al montaggio delle memorie)Non esiste un processore migliore degli altri, dipende dalle esigenze, questo processore secondo me è ottimo per l'uso da ufficio classico perchè senza spendere cifre esose, se non dovete fare rendering o montaggio video a 8K o gaming è un ottimo aggiornamento.

Got a pair of these to upgrade my nephews' anemic "gaming PCs" from some weird 2-core, 4-thread AMD Pro processor from the Zen+ generation. Motherboard is a Gigabyte A320 so had to upgrade the BIOS a couple of versions. But it all went smooth. Needless to say they run far better going up two generations of AMD processors with triple the cores and much better iGPU. Used the included Wraith coolers since they won't be doing any overclock. No complaints.

Meine "alte"Ryzen 5 wird von WIN11 leider nicht mehr unterstützt. Einen komplett neuen PC wollte ich nicht kaufen.Der Einsatz dieser Ryzen 5 hat bei meinem WIN10 in den Update den Hinweis auf WIN11 erscheinen lassen.Ein Update von win 10 auf 11 hat bei mir problemlos funktioniert.

I had an old computer that the motherboard bricked on me so I needed to replace it. The 5600 GT is a 6-core processor like the 5600xbut it it's cheaper and also has built-in graphics, which is nice if you don't want to run a GPU. I was able to buy a B550 motherboard and the 5600GT CPU for just about $350 and use the old RAM and a GTX 1080 to get my old rig back up and running. I use it as a spare so we can check emails and that sort of thing but my son jumped on it to do a little gaming and it played at an acceptable frames rate without stutter. There is no longer state-of-the-art but it's very acceptable for a budget rebuild especially if you don't need a discreet GPU.

I use Fusion 360 a fair amount and this processor is working great for me for a fair price. I do not do large models but many strange things were happening in Fusion with my old processor. Everything worked just fine when I upgraded to this new processor. Very pleased.

Used this in my new computer build, adding it to an ASUS TUF Gaming A520M motherboard. It comes with a AMD cooling Fan (which had a light amount of thermal grease installed). I opted to wipe off the thermal grease that was preinstalled on Fan Heatsink, and put on a high quality grease I trust. Not to say theirs is not adequate, I just did not know what type or grade they use. When I powered on the new system, every thing powered up fine. Installed the OS, and system is working wonderfully with this processor. System is fast, and graphics worked great too, and at an optimal temp. I did add an additional GPU card to run off of, but is nice to know the integrated graphics will work for me, if my GPU graphics card ever goes down. This is my first AMD processor I have used in a build (always having gone with the other brand), and I am very happy with the result, as well as the cost savings over the other brand. Would buy AMD brand processor again, and recommend to others.
