Un processeur qui tient ses promesses ! Performances excellentes en multitâche et en gaming. La fréquence boost est idéale pour les tâches exigeantes. Le ventilateur Wraith Stealth est efficace et relativement silencieux. Très bon rapport performance/prix.

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is hands down one of the best processors for its price range. With 6 cores and 12 threads, it handles everything I throw at it with ease, from gaming to productivity tasks like video editing and 3D rendering. The Zen 2 architecture provides excellent performance per watt, and I’ve noticed significant improvements in both speed and efficiency compared to my older CPU.Even under load, the included Wraith Stealth cooler does a good job of keeping temperatures in check, and it runs relatively quietly, though you could always upgrade to a more robust cooler if you're planning to overclock. Speaking of overclocking, the unlocked multiplier makes it easy to squeeze out extra performance if needed, though it performs impressively well at stock speeds. The Ryzen 5 3600 also shines in gaming, with excellent single-core performance, ensuring smooth frame rates even in demanding titles. It’s also future-proofed with AM4 socket compatibility, so you can pair it with a wide range of motherboards.Overall, this processor is a fantastic value for both gaming and multitasking, making it a go-to choice for anyone building a mid-range PC. Highly recommended.

3600 remains the GOAT for budget builds. For how old this thing is, it's an absolute workhorse. Pairs really well with my RX 6600 and I've had 0 issues with stuttering so far.

I can't believe I purchased this five years ago in 2019. 10/10 - excellent processor. Not only did it serve me well for three years, it is still working hard at the heart of my best friends PC playing the latest and greatest titles. The cost to value ratio of this build takes me back to the good old 2500M / Early Athlon XP days.

AMD has really done a great job in catching up and overtaking Intel. The Ryzen 5 3600 was, hands-down, the best budget CPU when I purchased it in 2020. For $200, this thing is an absolute powerhouse. This CPU will easily handle ANY games you throw at it, and can even stream at the same time without maxing out (at least from my experience). It ranks VERY well against its contemporaries (as long as you don't use UserBenchmark). It does run a bit hot, but the Wraith cooler that comes with it is enough to keep thermals within comfortable ranges. I use a 120mm AIO (which isn't the best CPU cooling method) and I rarely hit temperatures that exceed 75 while gaming. One thing I should definitely say now, in the era of Intel 11th-gen and AMD Ryzen 5000, this CPU is not worth it at prices above $200. The i5-10400 is running at $150-175. It may not be as good as the 3600, but it still is a good CPU and is much more affordable. Seeing this listing here that has the CPU at $240 is not good considering that we are in the era of Ryzen 5000 and Intel-11, AND Intel is tanking the prices of its 10th-generation processors.I am AMD all the way, but if AMD still wants to out-compete Intel in previous-generation sales, they will have to get competitive in the price area. If they do, then this CPU will definitely be a no-brainer buy for a budget builder since this CPU is still more than viable now.TL;DR - Worth it for $200 in 2020, not worth $240 in 2021 with the existence of Ryzen 5000 and Intel 11th-Gen. Still a very capable GPU for gamers. Would be more than worth it if price dropped to around $175.

Because Amazon likes combining reviews for different products: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (I'll stop doing this when Amazon stops combining reviews for unrelated products)Disclaimer: I am NOT a PC gamer. I did not get this CPU for gaming, so I don't bother with overclocking. I bought it because I needed a CPU for my new motherboard and the price was good.Installation was easy. The CPU slotted easily into the MB. The fan required a bit more effort than I expected, but I was able to work out just how much pressure to put on the screws to get them to engage with the MB.Not much to say about performance, because I'm not a gamer. My previous CPU was an AMD A4-5300 APU, which was really starting to struggle with most applications, though adding a separate graphics card helped with that somewhat. Basically, the CPU load ran at about 50-70% most of the time. With this Ryzen, I haven't yet seen CPU usage go above single digits -- and that's without overclocking.Copy/pasted from my MB review, because it's relevant: I had some problems initially, with the USB drivers. Basically, I can do everything I did before, but smoother and/or faster. There's not much I can say other than it works, and in most cases, works better than my old system. Now for the driver problems. I can't say how Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 handle the drivers. I run Windows 7 Professional. The hard part is getting the chipset drivers, because the newer Ryzen processors don't support Windows 7. They DO exist, but AMD and Asus make it hard to get them. You will also need a ps/2 mouse or keyboard, because Windows 7 does not natively support USB 3.x. You need amd_chipset_software_2.04.28.626.exe -- run the installer to get most of the missing drivers, then point Device Manager to C:AMDChipset_Driver_InstallerAMD_Chipset_Drivers to get the remaining USB Host Controller driver. Once you've got the chipset drivers installed, you'll be able to go back to your USB mouse and keyboard.TL;DR: Easy to install, though installing the fan requires some elbow grease.. Works fine, even for non-gamers. Easy to set up, even for Windows 7 users (as long as you have the chipset drivers).
