Very pleased. They are solid, well built and attractive. Could be a little longer to earn the 5 star rating, but overall am pleased with the purchase.

I've now used these in two of my boats. Hands down best value and great durability. Only downside I would warn about is that sometimes the mounting screws can loosen up over time if not given some extra help. I lost one on my boat one day from the bracket screws coming loose (between the bracket and the metal tube)! A simple fix going forward was to redo all threads with a little locktite and I have not had another loosen improperly, since.

I just installed these on the boat. Really like them. They install easy and look great. and are easily adjustable. They have cost me a $300 rod and reel. I placed some holders on the T Top in the rear. Had my rod up there and hit some rough water coming out of the inlet. When we got to the fishing spot I went to get my rods and realized that one was missing. Turns out from the weight of the rod and the thrashing of the boat one of the rod holders turned (Spun on the railing) and dumped the rod off the back of the boat into the water. I had no clue. When you install them really make sure to turn those screws down hard. I actually picked up some JB Weld to make sure it doesn't happen again. Also concerning if you're soaking some bait and get a big bite, it may pull your rod into the water.Overall very nice looking, easy to install, and adjustable.Cons they can dump your rods into the water if you dont lock them down hard enough.Side note: 3 minutes after learning my rod was with Davey Jones, my boat died and we had to get towed off the water. haha. Happy to be off the water for now.

Picked these up since my old ones got cross threaded and were no longer sturdy.I have a Parker 2120 on the west coast and these things fit perfectly on my 1” rail. The only wish these things were a tad bigger (larger opening). On the west coast we use a lot of jig sticks and deck hand rods which typically have a larger butt on them.Only 3 of my 5 jig sticks will fit in these, but I guess I’ll make do.The quality seems good and install was super simple (if you can’t install these things, you prob shouldn’t have a boat.)Let’s see how they hold up this season!
