Works great and very fast compared to my tapered sinks. It does cause some tear out around the outer edge and kind of choppy in ply. Good for production work

Back in days I always used bits without carbideAfter starting using with carbide I will never go backSpecially on IPE the old school tips was making you job miserable. With the new tip I was able to drill 400 plug holes in IpeStill be careful to not bend it while drilling or hit a nail or screw.Do not use impact drill unless you can drill without engaging the impact mechanism which is not always easy when you’re trying to do the job quick.Regular drill is the bestI found that on Ipe can’t drill in one timeYou have to remove The tip while Drilling to get rid of the wood chunks that sticks between the CarbiteThat way you will avoid the tip getting overheated and sink into the wood easierI wish the manufacturer will make tip that have the stopper for 3/4 IpeI was always worried if I make the hole to deep

Excellent carbide tipped countersinking impact ready bit by Amanda Tool!!A joy to useMakes a countersinking a real breeze !!💆🏻♀️💨And here’s a tip I learned from a fine dude Colin something Carpenter guy on the net(tried to look up the website but can’t seem to find it right now...):After you drill the countersink/pilot hole with this lil brilliant baby, switch yer impact to reverse rotation ,and drill again,( putting mild pressure on the countersink but not so much as to deepen it...)you’ll get a nicely deburred ,silky smooth countersink!!Yeaaahhh Baby!!!Thank you Amana Tool!!!!!Rock on!!!!!!🙏🏼🌕🌹❤️😘🐚✨❄️🕺🏿💆🏻♀️👌🏿👍🏿💜🌈💜🌲😎

Great bit... Use it for installing cabinets, been using it for months now still drills a clean hole like the day i first got it. Love that it's a quick connect works great in my makita impact. Also like the ability to adjust the drill it depth. Would highly recommend.

Recommended for finish work leaves a nice clean sharp edge hole I’ve had it for a while now but unfortunately I’ve only used it a few times because of how expensive it was and how sharp it is. I countersink probably almost every screw that I install when I say countersink I pre-drill with a countersink bit doesn’t mean I’m always using the counter same part Just means I pre-drill everything !No one likes cracked lumber

I've used a lot of different countersink bits over the years and Amana has always been the best by far. The two carbide blades cut cleanly through every material I've used them on: hardwoods like maple and oak, softwood, melamine, you name it. If you drill lots of pilot holes this is THE bit to own. The router bit version works great in a drill too.
