I install a lot of decorative hardware and use these bits consistently. I make a template out of plywood or other the exact size of the hardware I have to cut in, and then use a 1/2" top bearing bit with these cutters.Local stores don't carry them, and the "high-end" tool store in the next town charges double than Amazon for the same thing
