My company builds a product where we regularly join OSB with spline joints. I've used several brands of wing router bits for this and have found that the Amana bits last much longer than the others. They are the most expensive to buy, but actually the best value. No surprise, as the Amana saw blades are also the best - by far.

This is advertised to have a 5/16 hole. It’s 1/32 under. You may need to round file it out. Not what I wanted to do, but had no choice do to time frame. I was able to grove what I needed done, but won’t buy another Amana tool. Burnt the bit grooving a total of 12’ of partial board. Don’t try these with hardwood

I've been limited to box store router bits until I had a need for this cutter. The quality of the cut is wonderful. I have a machinist background and as soon as I saw how the cutter was packaged with the carbide dipped in plasti-coat I knew I had found a quality router bit. The cut is light years beyond what Freud or Bosch or Diablo give you. Also the size - No where else could I find this size of a wing cutter. It is PERFECT for a tighter fit groove for 1/4" plywood. I've been using it to make simple shaker style rail and stile components for utility cabinets. I will be buying more of these and other Amana router bits as well.
