Hard to adjust, also doesn’t fit anything under 8’. It’s ok, but really not what I wanted. I should’ve stayed on the AmericanVan website. It’s my fault though for trying to save a buck. Just pay the extra and go with professionals that are literally in the outfitting a van business. $900 mistake that I’ll live with. I’ve started to just move away from Amazon since it’s a pain to verify things as they keep shoving other crap to buy in your face like they’re going broke if they can’t upsell you. Regular websites are making a comeback! Can’t wait to see Ma and Pop stores again so you can borrow their expertise when purchasing something large for fleets.

These are the worst racks I've ever used.1. The opposing ladder lock system makes it harder to load and unload the ladders.2. The locking mechanism is harder to use than any of my previous racks (watch your fingers).3. The length pole of the rack is in 2 parts so there are bolts in the middle that stick up and snag the ladder while loading / unloading.4. None of the bolts are seated in depressions so all of the round heads stick out too far and inhibit ladder slide when loading / unloading.5. I called "customer service" about it and he said that they don't make the depressions anymore, BS. He told me to get a grinder and smooth the heads off....I would never advise purchasing ladder racks from them.
