kid is growing so fast i got this for the bathroom to measure him as hes having his growth spurts to document whats going on with him physically. well made device and very useful. i emjoy having this around so i dont have to mark a wall.

I ordered the VivaComfort Aluminum Portable Height Measuring Rod for Adults and Kids to accurately measure my kids for height sensitive things (like moving their car seats to the next level).Setup of the measuring rod was easy, once the metal tabs were removed (per the instructions). Breaking it down was equally as easy, and all the components stored in the carry bag easily and with room to spare.The tool was stable once put together and accurate for all our family members (four of us at varying heights) as compared to the tape measure we’d been using, and the numbers and where the arrow landed were both clear and easy to read.The only thing to note is that the base of the unit was slippery on our wood floor, so for those in a similar situation, I recommend getting some type of non-slip feet for the bottom.

I love that it comes with a carrying case. It's easy to store and portable. It is quite accurate and sturdy. I double checked it with a tape measure, and it appears to be either accurate or if it's off, so is my tape.

I removed the metal tabs per instructions. I assembled the product according to the directions. I noticed it was a really tight to put all three measurement sections together. But I couldn't get them all the way together. It was stuck. Taking the unit apart to put back in the carrying case was a disaster. All three pieces of the measurement stick were STUCK!!!. I can not get this back apart to store in the bag. Honestly: after a closer look, it looked like this particular item was used before. There were a few scratches on it that makes it look used. I do not recommend based only on the fact that I can not get this thing apart.
