It's non-slip...ish. Doesn't quite work laying tape across big stretches but it's still a great price for its size. A mostly good solution if you need straight lines to trace on 14x17 paper like I do where smaller sizes just won't cut it.

It's clearly a high quality product... don't get me wrong. If you're in the market for this kind of thing, it's well worth the cost it's priced at right now. That said, I have to ding it on 2 points:1 - It arrived bent. Not bent to the point it would crease if bent back but bent none the less. I did my best to bend it back and straighten it out but it probably wont ever sit 100% flat.2 - The centimeters and the inches start at opposite ends. If I'd have been paying more attention, I'd have caught this in one of the pictures. The problem with this is, I only need a 40" ruler and 48" is slightly too big for my table. I work mostly in metric but occasionally need to work in imperial as well but if I cut the 8" off that I need to in order for this to fit on my table, I have to make the choice to use one system or the other.
