This is a really well finished product. It’s straight, smooth and all measurements on both sides are dead-on accurate. The non slip material on the bottom is neatly applied and sits flat. But my main reason for buying it was the hand/finger protection when using it as a straight edge while cutting with a razor knife. I could have saved on bandaids and a painful embarrassing moment a couple times years back.That said, I’d be wary ordering a longer straight edge (mine is 36”) due to the likelihood of it getting bent during shipping. Reviews with photos prove that.

I thought I ordered an 8-ft straight line. But I guess I hit the wrong one. But my brother said it'd be okay that it should work just fine. Thank you and I will more than likely order another one later.

Sturdy, seemingly accurate, easy to read. I wish it also had MM so I didn't have to buy a second one, but I guess that's going to be in the cards for me.

I read all the reviews and did my research.I was extremely pleased with this.It is a great value but more than anything a great product.Last thing you want to do is buy a bunch of bad products trying to find the good one.This is the good one.

It's straight, and it's an edge. Packed well enough and arrived shiny and blemish-free. Only thing I would change is to add slightly-rounded corners on the ends. This thing is deadly when you have to swing it around in anything but a small room. Be careful - if it bumps into anything the sharp corners will leave a scratch or a gouge.The padded bottom gives a slight rocking tendency to the entire edge. It's designed that way to provide a non-marring surface, but just be aware that the edge isn't lay-flat to any flat surface.

I ordered this straight edge for marking and cutting heavy canvas and Cordura because I make some large covers for grills and hvac units and other outdoor equipment. The protection to your hands and the non-slip grip on the bottom make it one of my favorite tools. I am making plans to order in different lengths and equipping my shop with more of these straight edges.

Great design and build quality. Would be confident to use it with circular saw as a straight edge or for basic marks. The rule is spot on accurate to other measuring devices I compared it to.

Muy robusta. Mide 2 pulgadas de ancho, lo cual proporciona un excelente espacio para resguardar los dedos de la mano que sujeta la regla, al momento de realizar el corte. La he usado para cortar chapa de madera y se siente muy firme ya que el hule antideslizante le da un buen agarre a la mesa de trabajo. El terminado anodizado del aluminio es bueno, claro que no se compara con el de una regla de los pájaros carpinteros o de mi escuadra milwaukee. La pintura blanca de las marcas de medición, no es de alta calidad, lo cual no representa un verdadero problema, ya que su principal función no es la de una herramienta de medición y trasado, sino la de sujetar el material que vas a cortar y mantener tus dedos a salvo de las navajas. Me queda una gran duda respecto al precio, compré la de 24 pulgadas en $350 pesos mexicanos ya con envío, lo cuál me pareció una auténtica ganga y me hace muy féliz, pues recuerdo haberla visto mucho más cara. Y comparado con los $4500 que cuesta la de 48 pulgadas, la diferencia es abismal. Y claro que compraría la de 48 pulgadas si la veo a un mejor precio.
