I bought this tool mainly to sharpen my pruners - and so far, it seems to be doing a good job. Have not tried it as yet, as the cold spell is still going on. Tried it on my scissors, and cutting much better. Had no problems with seller - items came as promised and on time. Sharpener is easy to use, and will come in handy in spring where needed. Thanks.

very simple, easy to use .i sharp my pruners,knife and it left my axe razor sharp. i highly recommend this sharpener ALTUNA does sharp edges in seconds....

I think there must be a learning curve that I haven't caught onto yet but I will keep trying. So far, I think I've made the clippers and outside scissors more dull. The directions look simple though.....maybe it's just me.

This product is amazing for what it is. It's just the right size and works wonders on pretty much anything. Only feature that could be revamped a hair would be the size of the blade/tungsten. If it was 3/8" or even 1/4" longer it would be perfect. I'll share the items I've sharpened thus far, few pairs of diagonals, countersink bits, scissors that should have been shitcanned, pocket knives, and even straightened out flat blade screwdrivers. Just use a little pressure And caution as with anything sharp meaning the tool you are repairing and always use going away from yourself. Keep note of where the little steel/metal shavings go as metal splinters ain't a walk in the park.

being a 61 yr old woman i have tried many sharpeners over the years this is one of the easiest and it works my yard clippers were so dull So i got this before i went a got a new pair of clippers They are so sharp now i nicked my finger so i guess i swiped it 1 to many times so watch yourself. so worth the $ I have never written a review before this is my 1st It's small to put in a draw so you don't lose them

Ho preso questo affila lame anche se ero un pò scettica visto il prezzo così basso.Devo dire che mi sono dovuta ricredere, è un attrezzo molto utile e funzionale.E' lungo quanto una penna, circa 12 cm, comodissimo da tenere in tasca da utilizzare all'occorrenza quando si fà giardinaggio.Io l'ho provato su delle cesoie molto usurate, non tagliavano più, volevo buttarle... dopo qualche passaggio con questo affila lame le cesoie sono tornate affilate e taglienti!!!Allora mi sono fatta prendere la mano e ho affilato falcetti, accetta e coltelli di casa (quelli a lama liscia)... soddisfattissima del risultato!La punta si svita e contiene una spugnetta imbevuta di un olio protettivo da passare sulla lama dopo che la si è affilata per proteggere essa dalla ruggine.Il materiale della pietrina che si usa per affilare è carburo di tungsteno ed è lunga circa cm. 2,2 ed è larga circa 2/3 mm.Il manico è in plastica abs.Forse per un uso professionale e intenso non è indicato, ma per un utilizzo "casalingo" regge benissimo e mi sento di consigliarlo.Spero di esservi stata utile👍
