This is the right size for my dual lamp super bright sconces. The effect is what I wanted. The leads are short, require a bit more insulation stripping and should be paired as ins and outs better. I did that my self see pic. Hope they last. I bought 5 used 3. One was bent and the other failed. I only needed three so good to have the extras. Be returned. It pays to be a prime member.

Most of these are 3 wire, this one is perfect for idiots like me who don't want to mess around with the wiring.4 wires, just cut your current lights and reconnect to the clearly marked wires on the switch and you're done.

Does what it’s suppose to do, dim 12v lights. RV replacement light needed a switch. Thought a dimmer switch would be great to control the intensity of the light. Worked out great!

Bought to replace a dimmer switch for the red LED strip lighting in an observatory. The old switch had good range for dimming the light, but would intermittently flicker. Got this one specifically because it claimed "No Flickering". This one flickers worse than to one it was meant to replace.

this dimer works from off to very dim to FULL brightness without any flickering. it is small and easy to install. I highly recommend this dimmer switch. I use in my van to control 2 small LED light bars mounted on the front bumper. Just be sure to keep within the dimmers amperage rating.

I built a 12v power supply (gasless generator) and included a 12v LED flood light. Turned out the light was really bright; too bright for some applications. In looking for a dimmer this popped up, along with others. Bought it based on the good reviews, and I liked the 4 wire hookup, which would make wiring it in a bit neater than the 3 wire hookup the others had. And the price was “right”.In reading other comments, it was clear that this needed to be wired exactly per the instructions, which I did. Worked perfectly. Dimming action is very smooth from full bright to very dim. No jumps in brightness. The 4 wire hookup is perfect for this. The light is about 12w which this handled with no noticeable heating. Things to note - I have noticed a bit of a hum at times. For me, not loud enough to be bothersome. The whole thing is surprisingly small, including the knob (about 1/2” across) and the body is about the same. This worked for my application, but might be a consideration for others. The threads for mounting worked on a piece about 1/16” thick, but would not be good for a piece much thicker. The internals are potted with what appears to be silicon, which, on mine, sat a little proud with respect to the edges of the case. On mine this was very minor, an had no affect on mounting it; just an observation. Overall, I would recommend this.

Bought this dimmer for a 12V landscape lighting system. It is a small and simple device, a tiny box with a knob and four wires sticking out. My issue was that that the wires were so tiny (gauge 22?) it was hard to peal off the insulation and impossible to crimp with heat shrink connectors. It is rated 6A, but not sure it would be appropriate to use with this amperage. As the wire comes out of a sealed box, it would be impossible to replace. Just in case there was any doubt, it says “made in China" in big letters. There’s no way to attach it to anything other than through a hole in a thin metal panel. I used it as a temp solution for about two months with no issues, now replaced with a more heavy duty dimmer.I only recommend this dimmer for a very small system if your set up and connections permit it.

The inputs and outputs shown on the package don't match the configuration imprinted on the actual switch, that being said, I used the markings on the switch itself and it works really good. I was particularly concerned about buying a cheap dimmer and getting flickering on my LEDs, this switch works great, zero flickering even at minimum setting. The knob has a good feel, nice positive click to turn off and then a nice weight and smoothness throughout the ON range which is 5-100% intensity, less than 5% there's a detent and it switches off. Easy to mount on a panel.
