The product is very effective. This is a must-have product for your furry pet. Just like humans get dry skin especially during the winter season, animals can have the same problem. It helped our bird (cockatiel) with its feathers and dry skin. I wish I had taken a picture before using the spray to show. Before using the spray, our bird was looking sickly. What a difference the spray makes. I was concerned about what I could use on the bird without the bird getting sick from ingesting. No problem with this product, because aloe vera is safe for humans as well as pets to ingest. Thank you for making a product that is non-toxic. The price and size are comparable. PLEASED, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I do animal rescue. I took a macaw from a hoarder’s situation. He was a bit raggedy looking for many reasons - it was a bad situation. He was afraid of the regular sprayer I use to give my birds ‘showers’ but he needed to bathe. I got this spray and boy! What an improvement! First, the sprayer is gentle and creates a fine spray that didn’t alarm the bird - he didn’t jump or screech when I sprayed him. He even turned around the second time I used it so I could get his back. There is a mild pleasant smell if you are really sensitive. The spray is clear so it doesn’t stain. I included a photo of a before and after - the after was from 2 applications of this spray. He looks even better now!

I love this product for my bird. It works well and helps when they're molting. I spray my bird about once a month just to help their feathers and then a couple times a week when they're molting to reduce the itching caused by new feather growth.A bottle lasts a long time so while it's a more costly product, it's worth it.

Aloe Vera Bird Spray - 8.5oz/251mL - Non-Toxic Bird Bath Relieves Dry/Itchy Skin & Softens Feathers - Made in USA - Safe & Effective for All Birds - Promote Healthy Plumage - Odor-Free - This American made product does just what it says it will do.While it may seem a little pricey, it actually takes very little to do its job, making it last a long time. We have an Amazon Parrot and live in a rather dry environment in Colorado. An Aloe Vera Spray was recommended by our Vet to help keep his feathers soft and healthy, especially while he is going through a molt. We have tried different Aloe products over the 10+ years we have had him, but this product seems to be one of the best values we've found so far.It comes in a bottle with a fine mist sprayer. Easy to pump and emit just a bit of fine spray on his feathers and even his feet.. Since the mist is so fine, it is barely noticeable to our parrot, but he actually seems to like it and we can definitely notice a difference when we don't use it.So for the ease of use, observable difference in quality of his feathers, and the small amount it takes to achieve the good results, we highly recommend this product!

I don't have a bird....I actually ordered this Aloe Vera for myself. I figured if it is safe for birds it would probably be pure enough for a human. When it arrived I discovered it's the consistency of water, which makes sense, since it's a spray-on product. I guess I was just expecting it to be a slight bit more dense than it is. Also, I was surprised to see that one of the ingredients is a "preservative". It doesn't say what type, however. Now I'm not sure if I should use it on my skin or not! The description said it's safe for birds to ingest, however....so whatever the preservative is, it can't be toxic. I just wish they would have listed the actual preservative they used. Overall it's a nice product.
