I found an old cheap Encore strat in my attic from when I was a teenager, 20 years in storage rendered the electronics useless, and I took a chance on this faceplate. It works perfectly, and, although it wasn't the exact fit, it sounds and looks great. I have it in the living room and myself or the kids pick it up every day or two and have a play. delighted.
