I tested three different types of water, and they all tested exactly the same, which was not possible in this situation. The PPM number was also an accurate.

I always wondered how good of water was in my son't well and if his purifier really worked. I also then tested my own water from our township and then from the water we get from a reputable water company (in large containers). • This water tester is easy to use and easy to read. The 2032 battery is a plus• Since I only have one tester it is difficult to compare accuracy but I tested it in several types of water and the differences are what I expected so based on that I would say it does a job that’s accurate enough for almost every need.• My old tester took an odd size of battery that was hard to find and therefore very expensive so I ended up throwing it away. This tester uses a 2032 battery which is the new standard, easy to find, and affordable• Here are my readings:o Tap water - 65o Zero Water with an old filter – 16o Zero water after a new filter was installed – 01o Pure pitcher with old filter 54o New pure filter – 24Because you need to be fairly accurate with water levels I filled the clear container to the proper level with the tester inserted. I removed the tester and marked the water level with a sharpie and will be storing it with the tester. Thiswill make it easier to use the right amount of water every time.

I finally got a chance to use this TDS meter and it was as easy as sticking it in a cup of water.I'm in the process of determining what type of water system I want to use. I've used a filtered water pitcher for years but am ready for something else.This told me my faucet water was 432 PPM. I have extremely hard water. The score is a little high in my opinion but this meter doesn't offer a scale or information. I just had to look at many source stories figure that out.

It’s super easy to use, and the readings are accurate every time, thanks to the high-precision chip and titanium alloy probe. I use it to check the water we’re drinking as well as monitoring systems like RO units—never had an issue with it so far.The backlit LCD screen is great, especially when we’re working early mornings or in low light. I also appreciate the auto-lock feature and factory calibration—it’s pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. With the multifunction design, I can test TDS, EC, and water temperature all at once, making it versatile for whatever we need on-site.This TDS meter is tough enough to withstand the construction environment and fits in my tool bag without taking up much space. This was easy to use right out of the box. It helped me get an accurate reading for the water hardness at our house and I've been able to now adjust our water softener settings. I'm hoping this tool has helped enough that we can start to have less mineral buildup.
