Use this product to measure the ovality and taper in the cylinders of an engine, you must use it in conjunction with a vernier or a micrometer. I liked its packaging and good quality. Tip: always remember to lubricate the tips that will be in contact with the cylinder and when removing them, tilt them carefully and lift them upwards.

When rebuilding motors bore measurement accuracy is critical. These gages work just as well as more expensive gages. Value and quality for the money above average.
