My German Shepherd loves running and playing with her tennis balls and playing outside anytime she can get out there. This was fun and I thought it would be a nice (and easier) way to launch tennis balls across the property for her to bring back. This can be folded up to store and you just press the button in the joint and pull it back out. It launches the ball just enough and is easy to throw. this definitely is saving our shoulders from trying to launch the balls manually. My dog loves it and so do we.

I love this ball thrower! Such a great value for the functions and durability. The size of the wand is 25 inches long, which is the longest one I've seen yet, and totally worth it! The handle seems like it's made of a soft, leather, grip. It's very nice to throw the ball and the ball itself doesn't have all the fur a regular tennis ball does. So your dog can fetch the ball, or chew on it and not get a bunch of fur stuck in is mouth. The wand has a safety mechanism that locks the wand up straight. So if you want to bend it for storage or walking with it smaller, you just push the safety button and it will bend the other way. So if you miss locking it(which is really hard to miss!) It won't bend down while trying to throw the ball because it only bends the other way. I've tried cheaper brands and they don't come close to this one. The long wand allows you to throw the ball and good distance where it keeps your dogs attention. I have 2 australian cattle, attention span is a negative 10. But they stay with this ball thrower! Highly reccomend!

Fun interactive ball throwing toy! I have an older puppy, large breed, so he needs activities right now to burn off all the extra energy he has! He also is in the heavy chewing phase and this toy meets that need for him as well! This is a durable toy that has held up so far. It works as expected and is simple to use, self explanatory. I recommend this!

This is a great alternative to the traditional Chuckit. It comes with a ball, and unlike a traditional Chuckit, this launcher collapses for storage. It's easy to use, and it launches the ball far. It is slightly less durable or thinner than a traditional Chuckit, but overall it is just as functional and works well! I would recommend.

Wow u can really chuck those balls far! Great handle especially if ur hands are wet or sweaty. I was worried about opening ithe arm up the first time but it seems pretty strong construction wise. U can use the handle to pick up the ball too. Very nice! Great price too.

I have a cute little carry case that I carry with me as a crossbody sling when I go on long walks with my dog. It holds everything EXCEPT my old 18" ball launcher, including the balls. I can't tell you how many times I've said to myself, "I sure wish I could stuff this ball launcher into this bag to free up my hands." I don't enjoy carrying the ball launcher in one hand and the dog leash in the other. I would love to free up my hands.So imagine my disbelief when I came across this foldable ball launcher! No way! This is great! It doesn't fold perfectly in half, but it folds small enough to fit into my bag and that's all that matters. Yippee! And the BEST new is this opens to 24"--longer than the 18 incher I already have. This means the balls go higher, farther than what I currently have, which makes my dog happier too. I would generally say that this launcher does not grip the ball quite as strongly as the other brand that I have so it's a little easier to throw with it. It's automatic. The other brand required a bit of a learning curve. I also like the grip on this ALL FOR PAWS version. It has the grip tape you'd use on a pickleball paddle or a tennis racquet and it's quite nice. I appreciate this very thoughtful design.

It works!!! Our puppy, a six month old Golden Retriever Rosee will only run/retrieve sticks and pine cones at the dog park. We’ve spent way too much money on different balls and have taken her favorites to the dog park and she just stands there and looks at it; no running, not a bit of interest. I got this thinking if she will run for the ball it would be a great help for my husband and I to help us launch/throw the ball better (we both throw like girls lol) and would save our backs not having to bend to pick up the ball since Rosee is obviously not. Well, this arrived today, we took it with us to the dog park and she ran and ran and ran. Rosee approved! As to the size - my husband and I are both short so we can use it to pick up the ball easily but for average or tall persons it could be too short. It is definitely easier than throwing from your hand but it does take some getting used to - like when to snap your elbow so the ball launches. Durability I can’t speak of yet since we only have had it for one day, but it is a winner for us!

I have a German shepherd and I’m not able to throw super far for him to run after the ball. I bought this kinda skeptical but it surprisingly throws far with little effort on my end!!
