I just wanted these to hang up winter jackets in the closet, not for packing in suitcases and travelling. They might not be sturdy enough for that. But for what I needed them for they are perfect. You can just open the zipper with your finger, put your coat inside, and zip it up. Very easy. The plastic is on the thin side but then it doesn't take up any extra room. Very happy with this purchase.
