ALESIS NITRO NOTE: Please note, it is not compatible with the Alesis Nitro Kit rack which uses a unique smaller 1 1/4in clamp. It can be used with the Nitro Kit if you have a Nitro clamp. (not included) Almost all other electronic drum kits use the 1 1/2 in rack diameter clamps and it is completely compatible with those.

Bought it for an incidental add-on shaker sound. my only complaint is the rim is too tall and unintended rim shots will undoubtedly happen.

I have the Alesis turbo mesh kit which i also got from amazon! Its an excellent drum set, i just wanted something i could plug the headphones in to not wake my family while playing the drums when inspiration hits at 10 pm! Anyways, the kit comes with small 8” pads and thats fine for everything but the snare, so i got this 10” pad and its PERFECT!! Works excellent as a dual zone pad, i was always hitting the rim with the smaller one and this one is quite bigger so i never hit the rim unless i intend to! I can even hit the snare with double sticks and it works GREAT!! The mesh is soft and bouncy, but not too much! Way better than the solid rubber pads, the noise it makes when you hit the pad is so low you never hear it, with the phones in or just using the speakers! No latency at all, the sound is immediat, if i was still recording music i would absolutely use this pad!! HIGHLY recommend, if you want a bigger dual zone pad, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!!!! A little pricier than i was wanting to spend but after playing it ALOT it’s completely worth it! Im not sponsored by Alesis, or amazon, just a guy that constantly plays drums and loves it, cheers!!!
