We used these to cover over screws going into the ceiling to hold up 4 x4 panels we glued in as reinforcement and to make a nice pattern. The caps make it look intentional while hiding the screws!

These are nothing but JUNK. Caps do not click in and if it does it falls out .

Product was easy to install and worked as expected. The only negatives are a few were broken in package and, I should have ordered the small size (my fault). Overall, I recommend this product.
