Because rubber material is soft and elastic, we recommend choosing rubber end cap that is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the product to be protected. For example: the outer diameter of your product is 9.8mm dia, choose the rubber cover of 9.5mm!

I use these with a small square of double sided tape to cover the end of bolts on our Rogue Monster Lite squat rack. Some of the bolts could potentially scratch or cut.
