Decoder Built-in Mode Function
With 10 built-in mode function, including：

- 7 color jump/fade (this 4 modes(H-08 to H-09) have 11 levels of speed adjustable)
How to see if it is suitable for your project？
Input voltage in DC 12/24V are suitable, you need to check if the output power is enough for your light strips need:
- 12V then output power <192W (4A/channel*4channel*12V=192W)
- 24V then output power <384W (4A/channel*4channel*24V=384W)
- If only use one decoder, you can use the fouction（-，+） & address setting buttons（SET） to set the modes（when the status display show : H） directly.
- If link the light strips/other lights with more than one decoder, you need to control the light by the DMX512 console or DMX512 PC console.
- It can easily to control and change the color/modes in a short time. So you can use it in some small project. Such as home lighting system, small church, home party, family stage performance and so on.
* The decoder will be closed when there is no press on any button within 5 seconds, the digital display become darken. At this time, these three butons do not work. If want to recover the buttons, please press any button for 2 seccnds then all buttons will start work.

I like to have little shows in my room and I had light strips so I bought this got some wires hooked it all up very easily and while you look at that.

Power supply not included. Be sure you use LED strips that are 12v as the unit uses the same voltage/power supply as it uses to send power to the LED strip. (i.e. you can't power the decoder on a different power supply than the output.)

I was very pleased with this purchase. I was looking for an inexpensive DMX controller so we could add an RGBW lighting strip to the drum cage at church. This was just what I needed. It looks very nice, and works just as expected. You can use the manual switches to test out your strip to make sure everything is working before you connect it to your DMX controller. I built a case for it to protect the connections and to mount the power supply on top to make a compact, self contained unit to put inside the drum cage.UPDATE: April 10, 2023. I purchased this decoder in Sept 2022, and we have been using it once a week in our church since sometime in October. It has worked well to control some RGBW LED strips in the Drum Cage. Unfortunately, on Easter Sunday (one of the busiest days of the year), this decoder would no longer allow us to change the colors of the LEDS....it is stuck on RED. The intensity works fine. I swapped it out with another DMX light fixture, which worked fine, so I know that it is a problem with this unit. The manual buttons allow us to set the different colors (H01, H02... etc), so I know our LED strip is still fine.I guess I will have to try another one since I have built a custom box for this model...I just hope it lasts more than 6 months of very light use!

Product worked great! Hooked up a strip of LED lights and plugged the dmx in and had no trouble controlling it. It was like using any other dmx controlled fixture

No issues, no complaints so far. I bought this model because I was looking to try one out without paying a high price. It works well and I will be buying more. Using to control RGBW LED strip lights with Chauvet ShowXpress software.
