I make a lot of plushies, with otter plushies being my most requested item. I use A LOT of brown thread and was very close to running out of any browns that would be a good match to the fabric I use.This is a great replacement for the thread I'd depleted and is good quality thread. Doesn't break often, unless I manhandle it and is smooth/easy to thread on my needle.One of the 4 spools I got was crushed, but the thread was undamaged. I knocked off one star for that reason only. I hand-sew all my plushies, so I don't have a problem with the damaged spool, but if someone needs to place it in or on a machine for more industrial sewing purposes, they might have a hard time using it.I purchased the brown thread - it has a slight maroon tint to it. I was hoping it would be more of a dark walnut color, but it still works for me.I also didn't need 4 whole spools, but I suppose I could use it for other projects if needed. It was too good a value to pass up.I'd definitely buy it again.

I am always hesitant to buy thread on Amazon because you can’t touch and feel it’s strength and durability but I recently purchased an embroidery sewing machine and I’m going through thread like crazy.I purchased the white and ivory thread for my bobbins and it has done a fantastic job! So much so, I am now using it for my quilting projects! The only negative is that the larger spool doesn’t fit on my Brother Project Runway machine so I’ve had to set it behind the machine and let the thread be pulled from back there. So far it’s working (fingers crossed!).I am now going to purchase more colors for my embroidery bobbins because I’ve learned (the hard way) that you need to match your bobbin thread color to your design thread color. If you use white the white can peek through to the front of your design. Sigh... so much wasted time and effort.So if you need thread for quilting or embroidery, I highly recommend this thread. It is a great value for the money and it is durable. It also looks great on finished products!
