Love this Dog House. I originally purchased an all wood Dog House for my new pup but, he ended up chewing it up. The design of this Dog House with the steel frame is brilliant…no exposed wood for him to grab hold of. Went together very easily and everything aligned perfectly, took about 45 minutes to assemble by myself. The wood is gorgeous and I love the smell of it and my boy seems to love it as well. The Seller was awesome…shipped quickly and packaged very well. Thank you

Easy assembly, good quality
Wanted to provide the mini-Doxies some protection from the rain if they are outside and I’m not home to let them in, this is perfect. We live in Washington state, so getting caught in the rain is inevitable, great shelter for the dogs.

Pretty good doghouse for the price
Was able to get it together in about an hour by myself. Everything fit and lined-up correctly (which is never a given with these Chinese-made kits). It actually looks pretty nice and is reasonably sturdy. I think it was actually a pretty good deal for the price.

well made, worth the money
This house is quite attractive and is almost like a piece of furniture on my patio. The thought that went into the assembly process is amazing. Every single piece is coded down to the last screw. It might be possible for one person to assemble but I highly recommend a helper just to hold the panels in place while inserting the fasteners. Now if only I can get my bulldog to go in!

My neighbor has 2 outside cats, and she got another kitten who comes over now too. It is big enough to fit at least 4 cats comfortably in it. I got an outside heating pad for it and they love it. The roof is sturdy, the ice has built up on it and it's fine. I wish I got a picture of the whole house but the kitty pictures are cute. It stand a few inches off the ground which I like. The flaps get stiff though but they still work. We did have wind and snow and it blew into the house but I just opened the roof and swept it out. The insulation makes it warm up in there fairly quickly. I'm glad I got it for them.

Seems fine—chew proof is edges. Not too difficult to put together. I thought I ordered the dog house with insulated lining…be warned this one does not have insulation. Puppy doesn’t seem to be bothered though. Good value for the price.

I love the quality of this dog house. I have a German shepherd and he fits perfectly in it. It’s warm and I no longer feel guilty leaving him outside. The legs on the bottom keep the dog house up off the ground. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Very sturdy also. And it was easy to put together.

This is a great dog house, my German shepherd took to it right away. The insulated padding helps keep her warm and comfortable. The dog house was pretty easy to put together. My husband and I worked together to assemble it so you might want a helper just to make it easier but it can be done with one person. It is very sturdy as well. I just wish I went up a size so our dog has a bit more room.

Once together the design is beautifully but overall for the function, I was very disappointed with the quality of the materials. All sides are very thin. The bottom/Wood floor was not sturdy and is not equipped to hold weight. A heavy dog will most likely break it over months of use. When drilling the wood split very easy. Also you can see through each wood peice once together. I would recommend putting a thicker peice in the bottom of your dog is more than 50lb. The insulation is also thin. Roof feels like it’s made of particle board and the coating used for the shingles is some type of spray. Easy to rub off. It has metal peices to hold the top for easy access but the first time I closed it they bent. I’m not giving this house two years before I will need to purchase a replacement. If your dog is a chewer it will definitely not last a few times. Size was true. Fit my large dog as stated. Has legs to keep it off ground. I willUpdate as it weathers.

This doghouse has its pros and cons, but so far the cons are outweighing the pros.The pros are: (1) It is VERY easy to assemble. You don't need any woodworking experience, you just have to follow the directions. (2) It is a very good looking doghouse once together. (3) The coating on the roof means I don't have to shingle it to protect it from the weather.The cons are: (1) The "little things" aren't as sturdy as the frame of the doghouse. (2) I've noticed that in just over a month, mold had started growing on the inside of the roof due to the seam on the roof. The small plastic strip provided to cover the seam has already warped, so I will have to replace it with something else. this doghouse may be better suited for under a car port than exposed to the elements. (3) The "insulated liner" is NOT chew-resistant. In just over a month, my dog managed to chew up and rip out about half of the insulating foam. If your dog is a chewer, you may want to think of something else.(edit) I increased the number of stars given due to Aivituvin reaching out and providing me a replacement insulated liner. Joy from customer service was a real gem.

I had high hopes for this dog house as the materials were nice; however, it was impossible to assemble and I had to return it. Screws were 8 mm longer than the holes they were supposed to go into. Instructions were weird: attach the feet with "the buckle," with no explanation of what that meant and no "buckle" to be found. There may be other problems with assembly, but I wouldn't know since I couldn't get past step one.

This is a beautiful product and is very sturdy. the roof was hard to assemble due to it's weight and the screws pulling out, but otherwise...perfect. Although the roof is shingled, I added a grass mat to dress it up a bit more.

Easy to build. Good quality! Lightweight so easy to move around. I built for my outdoor cats, insulated and added a heated mat. I made the door a bit smaller with the insulation to keep warmer for the cats. Added a security camera and wireless thermometer as well.
