I’m really happy with this. It just arrived along with my new bird bath so I put it in the bird bath and filled it up and despite the fact the sun has disappeared and I’m left with a grey sky, it’s working. Not a constant stream but it’s flowing about 4 inches high every second. What a bargain! I was only expecting it to work in full sun so I’m really pleased. It’s easy to assemble, the instructions tell you which bits to use with the different nozzles to get different effects and it also tells you how to clean it so it will keep working well. Plus you have that lovely and relaxing sound of the trickling water. I’m looking forward to seeing it in full sun because the stream will be constant and it will probably reach higher too. My little birds have come over to have a look at it but not ventured in as yet. Will probably take them a few days to trust it. I highly recommend this.Edit:- I just wanted to add to my five star review that I’m even more impressed with this since winter. I had planned to remove it so it wouldn’t freeze and break but I completely forgot. It’s now been frozen countless times and when it thaws out it begins working again. Considering the bargain price I’m amazed it even lasted the summer never mind a winter. All the birds love it. The magpies have unfortunately stolen all the little straw stabilisers so now it floats freely in the bird bath until I find more straws to fit. If you want a cheap and cheerful fountain then buy this, you won’t be disappointed. FYI in full sun the spray goes really high and wide and if there’s even a little bit of a breeze you may find you’re filling up your bird bath constantly so you might want to invest in a very wide bird bath or don’t leave it in full sun.

I’m not sure what the upgrade is, I had another one before for a couple of years and the little pump quit working because the water dried up, there is no safety switch to turn it off when there’s no water. The other one had suction cups to hold it in place this one has none and floats around. It even flows a little on cloudy days

worked well for a couple of months - provided entertainment for folks who saw it.We cleaned it regularly and followed instructions but sadly it has failed, the motor is now longer either working or getting power from the transformer.This is just another cheap piece of equipment symbolic of modern consumerism.

Dieser Springbrunnen ist super. Er verfügt über verschiede Aufsätze von schmalen Wasserstrahl zu breit gefächerten. Was ich persönlich klasse finde sind die Abstandshalter die man kinderleicht nur in die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher führen muss, sodass der Springbrunnen nicht am Rand hängt und das ganze Wasser auf dem Teich spritzt. Er funktioniert nur über die Sonne und hat keine Batterie. Ich persönlich finde das klasse da man nicht das Risiko hat das eine undichtigkeit diese korrodieren lässt.Also mein Fazit ist schöner Springbrunnen für jedermann! Preis Leistung einfach klasse!

No installation needed works right out of the box. But, it does not work in my bird baths as they are not deep enough. I’ve tried other deep bowls but the fountain sprays out of the fountain needing to replace the water frequently. It works fine, spray is great, it just needs a very deep, large bowl so you do not need to refill water all day. Love the fountain, just have not found a bowl deep enough to work with it .

I bought this little pump for a bird bath. It works as expected with adequate power, and the many nozzle attachments give a lot of spray possibilities. It does need to be cleaned frequently because it sucks in all the bird bath debris and plugs up.First problem: the little suction cups on the bottom of the device are useless to hold it in place. I finally used three small rocks to keep it in the center of the water.Second: spray height and volume are highly variable depending on amount of sunlight, so it's hard to regulate on a sun/cloud day. Add wind, and the water blows everywhere out of the bird bath. Most of the nozzles shoot water too high to be useful in a bird bath when it's sunny. I need to refill water repeatedly.So....the pump works just fine except for the suction cups (not sure for how long; I've only used it for a few weeks), but it doesn't really work in a bird bath. And it will require an anchoring system of some kind to keep it from randomly floating around your body of water and spraying everywhere!
