This is the best product. I purchased this same one about 15 years ago and still have it. I use it when I get inflammation in my elbow, usually referred to as golf or tennis elbow. I've worn it under my shirt sleeve and have slept with it. Very comfortable. Price is great. Definitely would recommend.

I had this product and it helped a lot about 10 years ago with my epicondylitis. It still works fine but does not look as fine just to wear it without long sleeves so I tried see if I could find the same one on amazon.I did find it in black and was surprised to find the same brand 10 years later. It shows the products must be good. Not too happy with the price because I remember buying it at Drugstore for less than 10 but still.... but still worth it.

I was recently diagnosed with tendonitis in my elbow and needed an elbow brace. I didn't like any that I found locally at our drug store, so I looked on Amazon and found this one. It is the same kind that was prescribed many years ago for my husband when he had the same condition. Back then we paid a lot for it! I am so thankful I found it and that it works great for pain relief! It is very comfortable. I don't even think about it being on! My doctor instructed me to wear it just below the elbow and atop the tendon to keep it from moving. It works great.

What a disappointment! Here I am in Physical therapy for a golfer's elbow and I don't play golf. My injury is from knitting. It is very painful. My therapist recommended this air cast. Unfortunately, when I took it in so she could show me how to use it correctly. she commented, " Oh! There is no pocket!" The pocket that holds the plastic bubble is not built in to this arm band. This makes it hard to keep on and rather uncomfortable to keep readjusting. It does relieve the pain when I can manage to keep it on. The plastic against the skin does not feel good either, especially in hot weather. It is unfortunate that what was apparently a good product that even therapists recommend has been modified and does not perform as expected.

I am always a bit skeptical when I see medical devices that seem way too simple. I was hesitant to order one of these when my nurse practitioner suggested it, but after enduring a couple of months of gradually worsening pain, it even hurt to shake hands with people, I broke down. Now I will admit, I joked with my wife that I don't know if it is working by itself, or if it simply reminds me to go easy on the arm, but after wearing it for a week I am surprised. I woke up for the first time this morning with no pain in my elbow.Pro's: it's cheap and seemingly effective. :-)Con's: according to my nurse the pictures don't demonstrate proper placement. The air pack should be practically right next to your elbow, and should be nestled right in front of the crease of the inside of your elbow - snug, but not so tight as to cut off circulation. Also, it is a bit of a pain to get it positioned properly, so sweet talk a friend or loved one into helping you out.

Mr Occupational Therapist recommended this item as part of my treatment for tennis elbow. This is the third brace I've purchase and this one, by far, is the most comfortable and effective. The first was a brace with a gel pad, and if it weren't too tight and hot, it would be fine. The second was an Ace Bandage with an adjustable tightness "knob". It's too hard, and the size of the pressure point is too narrow and the curve too sharp for a large arm. The Aircast version (this product) has an air pillow which applies gentle pressure that easily adjusts to the contraction and relaxation of the forearm muscles. It is Velcro adjustable, and the strap is foam padded and wearable for long periods. If that's not enough, it was the cheapest of the 3 braces I purchased!

These braces (I purchased three) are defective. I'm a regular 3 to 4 times a week tennis player. The retaining piece (a tongue-like tab that adheres to the Velcro, keeping the band in place) on the first brace lasted six sessions. The stitching holding the tab to the band was minimal and poorly done. I thought it was an aberration or that the brace should not be machine washed & dried. I tossed it and went to the second brace. I hand-washed it and air dried it after each use. It lasted 7 sessions. I then used the third and final brace. It lasted three sessions. Obviously, I won't be purchasing this product in the future. Sadly, the brace is the best one I've found to allow me to play in comfort with the damage I have to my elbow (bone spur, shredded tendon). However, I won't continue to buy a defective product. Other braces on the market, for example, Nike's new elbow brace, perform nearly as well at the same price and they're durable.
