it was east to install, no extra noises, but I cant tell you if there is any difference in driving, one way or the other....sorry but I am not going to split hairs over this one

I love the sound of my truck!! Why my a throttle body spacer with whistle if you don't want the whistle. Dumb! I like it and yes I would recommend it! My intake is a little louder too!

I have a 2011, Toyota, Tacoma, 4X4, TRD, Off/Road, V-6, automatic. I installed this Throttle Body Spacer, on the Tacoma, at 1675 miles. I then put 630 miles on the Tacoma, the overall gas mileage, was not improved -- the throttle response, improved quite a bit. I then put the Toyota, TRD, catback exhaust system on. The overall gas mileage in town improved by .4 mi/gal (as long as you don't have your foot heavy on the throttle), on the highway improved by .85 mi/gal. Between the Throttle Body & the Cat Back Exhaust, I do not know which to really credit. I personally think, the addition of both, improved the overall mileage and throttle response. The OEM, Factory air filter, has been replaced with an aftermarket, High Performance Replacement Air Filter (I purchased from Amazon). The throttle response, improved again. I have driven a 1/4 tank of gas, with the installation of the HP Air Filter, but, the mileage has improved. I recommend installing the Throttle Body & HP Air Filter. DB, in Louisiana.

I bought the spacer expecting to hear a type of "whistle" noise but it sounds more like a squealing noise. It sounds great when you are revving the engine but squeals when you give it gas and at 1500-2500 RPMs. It sounds as though my belt is loose. It was very easy to install(20 minutes max. I did not feel a noticeable change in power or torque. The noise cannot be easily changed which is why I might return it.
