At first I thought, why not just make a phone app for this, but it's really a benefit to have a dedicated device with this advanced microphone setup. It says there are 2 directional and 6 omnidirectional microphones, that's pretty impressive. I'm wondering if it could capture high quality musical recordings as well since that's another hobby of mine. The size is a little bit smaller than my phone, I like that it's compact and how the microphones are protected since they extend off of the unit a bit. I'm not familiar with all of the features yet, but I also like how there is a dedicated recording button instead of having to use the touch screen menus all the time. I was hoping to use this to become just a little familiar with speaking other languages, and it is helpful if you can see the written words, but for languages like Japanese or Arabic, the characters don't give me a clue, and the speakers are a little bit hard to understand for me when I hear languages that are foreign to me. I guess I'd need to become familiar with their alphabet first. It's really a lot of fun and has really nice features. If you don't have a paid subscription you can use the AI features just 3 times per day, and it comes with 5Gb of cloud storage for 3 years so that's pretty cool. I'm very happy with the free capabilities since this was kind of an impulse buy for me. I was not shopping for something like this beforehand, but when I saw it I thought I had to try it out. Thank you so much!
