I bought this for an elderly man so he could make notes for remembering daily tasks. However this is too small for his hands and fingers. Not user-friendly to me

Small and discreet. Recording quality very good. I found it a tad frustrating rewinding to capture previous recordings but would still purchase again

I've been using the Jawploy Digital Voice Recorder for a month now, and I have to say, it's a pretty cool gadget. If you're someone who likes to jot down thoughts, record lectures, or capture interviews, this little device might just become your new best friend.First off, it's super easy to use. Although navigating through the menu system can be a bit complicated at first, the buttons are straightforward once you get the hang of it. It’s compact and fits right into my pocket, so I can carry it around without any hassle. The sound quality is impressive for such a small device. I tested it out in a few different settings – quiet room, noisy café, and even outdoors – and it picked up voices clearly each time. There's also a handy noise reduction feature that really makes a difference when recording in less-than-ideal environments.Battery life? A+! I’ve used it for several days now, recording bits and pieces throughout, and it’s still going strong. Plus, it charges quickly, which is a nice bonus. One of my favorite features is the built-in storage. It’s got plenty of space for hours and hours of recordings, and transferring files to my computer is a breeze with the USB connection. No need for any special software – just plug and play. Also, it doubles as an MP3 player, so you can enjoy your favorite tunes on the go.Overall, the Jawploy Digital Voice Recorder is a solid piece of tech that does exactly what it promises. It's reliable, user-friendly, and delivers high-quality recordings. Whether you’re a student, journalist, or just someone who likes to keep track of their thoughts, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I can usually figure things out pretty good but this took alot of time trying to figure it out. Instuctions are tricky as they were translated and quite difficult. I was looking for just a simple recorder....and thought this would fit the bill. I am keeping it as I think I have it figured out. Just know it takes some getting use to and some people probably can figure it out faster than others.

Our daughter goes away to school next year and she was looking for a way to keep a record of classes, and finalizes her study notes as needed. We like the size of this recorder, it will record up to about 3 hours from what I understand on the display with the built in 64 GB memory. You can store voice recordings but also load music to the device with the included USB cable. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack to plug headphones into, as well on top there is a mic jack, and you can plug the included lapel mic onto yourself, your subject or simply set it up in front of them for directed and crisp recordings.I did some testing and found the recordings to crisp and loud. recording and playback are straight forward, easy buttons to figure out and push. My only complaint or issue (partially due to my age) is reading the smaller side buttons, as they are bright silver, and incorporate symbols. my simple solution was to take a black permanent fine point marker, and colour the symbols/letters in so they "pop" for my old eyes. For my daughter, I think she will find all of the features to be very handy. Especially since at the end of a day, she can transfer the files to her computer, freeing up the memory on the recorder for the next day, but also so she can transpose while listening right on her laptop. The quality feels pretty good. Buttons are plastic, but the casing feels more solid. The backlit LCD screen is easy to read and understand. On my testing thus far, I have not had to recharge the battery yet.A very affordable device with many everyday uses

Not as difficult to navigate as some of the others I've had...And for the money? It's a win win.64 gigs of storage for a fraction of the price.

This voice recorder is very clear. It has different features, like a mp3 player. It sounds amazing, and easy to use. it came with a clip-on mic that was good. I very much recommend this!

The voice activation doesn't work for telephone calls and faint speakers, but otherwise great.I also found the 1 inch Puck recorders infinitely more practical, due to form factor. The interface is a bit confusing. And I accidentally started it's player when it was in the pocket when trying to record instructions, verbal promises and agreements, during a meeting where the boss is prone to lying and not appreciative that I can listen to their instructions several times, and can prove what they previously told me--since they are prone to lying and pretending that they said something different as a club to beat me with. The price is great and it does a lot, so I bought two on top of my 2 Puck recorders. I gave one of them to my college son and keeping one as a backup or will give it to my high school daughter if she decides it will be useful. My ideal learning situation for maximum learning and information retention is to take notes and relisten to every lecture at least once. Audio learning stuff can be listened to without impacting the hours in the day.
