Allows water (extensive soaking required) and air to pass thru to feed nutrients to the soil while keeping weeds under control. Best in value with 3 feet x 300 feet to cover all your hard to do locations in the back yard. ***Please note this is made of material and will degrade under direct exposure to UV Sunlight. Please make sure to properly cover the fabric completely with mulch or dirt to work properly. The Premium model fabric requires soaking time to have water sip through the fabric.

This material has proven to be just the right size (smallest amount for s small garden) perfect thickness and easy to handle in my garden.

Not been on my garden two months and it’s actually deteriorating. It’s just breaking down and I can see through it all overPut this under my mulch in my flower bed and now worried it’s just going to let the weeds back through.

This fabric does the job it's supposed to in primarily keeping weeds out of my veggie garden, I think the price is high considering it is only for weed avoidance. So, I gave it an average rating. Mostly, I'll give the fabric 1 year. Advertised 20 years is a joke. I had to pull the fabric after just one season and buy this again. I'll use Amazon to purchase it again because I will not return to Lowe's Hardware due to the worst customer service!

Excellent product. Great ground cover for installing rocks in flower beds around the house. There are no products that prevent all weeds, especially when you put mulch over top of the ground cover. It breaks down and turns to soil. Birds drop seeds and well there you are. If you don't want grass then cover with plastic, then you cant have plants because water cant get through plastic.

Have been meaning to write this as I have been so impressed with the product's performance. I got this to put below some playground much on my Children's new swing set. Thru constantly evolving plans and designs, I had to pick up and put down the matting at least 3x over the entire structure footprint, some places even more. Throughout it all the thing I could count on to retain its integrity was this matting, could step on it, scuff it, leave it out in the sun and rain, yet nothing would make it lose its integrity or allow it to become shredded. Even where I intentionally wanted to put holes in it with ground stakes to keep it in place at the edges, never had to worry about it tearing or coming apart on me when I put some pressure or friction on it.Most of the time I usually leave bad reviews as a warning to any unsuspecting buyers out there of unexpected pitfalls with the product. I am extremely pleased to be able to write of a deserving product in the opposite direction.

This product was very easy to use and was a very good price. We ended up needing much more garden fabric and had to buy two other brands from local stores. (We needed to cover over 4,000 sq feet.) This fabric was less expensive and more durable than the other two brands and was available in a much larger quantity. There were no issues with the first two rolls, but the third roll had a couple of spots that were thin and had holes in the fabric. I simply doubled up the fabric in those areas. Overall, I was very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it for anyone that has large areas of landscaping to cover.

I unfortunately have to say this is the worst ground cover I have ever purchased! My initial purchase was for 15 rolls to control the weeds between my new lavender farm plants. We put the rolls down and within 2 weeks the product was already breaking down before we could get sand cover over it. I contacted the company, and they told me the item was biodegradable and needs to be covered immediately. This is not made clear in the description of the item at all. They sent me new rolls, I paid for labor again with a second team coming up right behind and covering the "Weed Control Cloth" with a 3" layer of cover per their instructions. Come spring this year (not 9 months after the second team process and my start up expense) the weeds were so bad we couldn't even see the lavender plants... the cloth is fully denigrated and what parts I can see are like tissue paper. I have had to get now a third team in to hand-weed (we are organic) at my cost again to find that nearly a third of my crop perished from being chocked out with weeds!! This will now put me behind by over a year. I am a start up so this has been a major hit to me and my family. I now have to purchase other weed cloth and pay for labor for a third time to put the new cloth down. I will never buy this product ever again. I am including pictures of the "weed control" covered rows chocked out with weeds as well as a row after weeding showing we did cover the cloth as instructed.
