F-50 Industrial felt is a high density, thin felt material, 0.32-0.36 g/cm³ (539.4-606.8 lb/yd³). This material contains 95% wool fiber. This felt is highly durable, hard/firm and inflexible. This material has moderate oil absorption and retention as well as excellent resistance to abrasion and wear. Some popular applications include anti-vibration dampening pads, bearing seals, bushings, gaskets, gun wads, oil and grease retention or friction gaskets, polishing jewelry, resoling dance shoes, shelf lining, sign holder, to prevent powder migration across equipment, washers, wicks/fluid transfer, and window channels.
