The assembly was very easy and only took about 5 min. Once assembled the post were very stable and encountered no problems. Both my cats attacked and really loved attacking it. When you assemble the bass make sure you use a cross pattern when tightening the base. I would recommend this cat post.

Love the light color and size easy to put together we have several indoor cats so needed a large cat scratching post not all the cats have taken to it yet. I like over the messy cardboard scratching pad.

I love the size and shape of this scratching post. It provides more surface area than a typical round post, and it’s tall enough for my 6 month old kitten to stretch and scratch. I set it up in front of my curtains (that used to be a target) near his cat tree in the window, and it’s been perfect. I got it on sale as well. Great value and easy assembly.

This is a heavy, sturdy scratching post that will not budge when your cat scratches or climbs it. If the base on the top was larger it would be perfect. As it is my cat does not climb it to sit on the top. He prefers the window seat for a high perch. Every cat is different.

Recommend removing ball on tether before assembling as if you have cats like mine they will rip it off and eat the string. My cats instantly went for this scratching post. They love it and play around it all day now. It’s hefty, durable, cost effective compared to other brands. Well worth it!

The size is great for a big cat so it doesn't fall over when they push their weight on it. Also it is elegant and pretty matching our living room. The twine is sturdy and doesn't fall apart - so it is more durable and long lasting than other posts which fall apart and needed "surgery" by me to cut off the twine often and tie it up which was Annoying

Because it's not wrapped rope sisal it's going to last much longer and look better. My cats like the height so they can stretch while scratching. They also like it as a perch because they're weird (the top is quite small compared to his rear end lol)

This is the greatest scratching post ever made! My son has a larger than average sized cat, and the cat uses this post regularly. It's tall enough for him to extend to his full height and get a good scratch. I even bought one for my house for when the cat comes to visit us. It's very sturdy and actually looks good sitting in the living room. I highly recommend this scratching post.

This post is easy to assemble and it looks great. The sisal is durable.Unfortunately it does tip over when jumped on it. And that is with 2 7 month old kittens when I got it last December, now 1 year old. Today I took a look at it and discovered the base was loose. So I got my hex key to tighten up the 4 bolts on the base. After doing that the base was still loose. I unbolted the 4 bolts to see what the problem was. It looked okay, but something is rattling inside the lower section of the post. It seems something has come loose inside but I have no way of knowing what it is or how to fix it.So I wanted to let other pet owners about these issues. I wanted to contact the company but couldn't find their contact info.

Within two days my 18 month old kitten destroyed it. I shredded the cheap particle board when I attempted to tighten the mid section after he jumped on the top. I will be asking for a return.Today (2/16/23) I received an email from Jenny in their customer service department. I was informed that I would receive a full refund without the need to return defective item. They already have a redesign in the works which will be on shelves this March. They said they will send me one free of charge when available. Obviously, this has been a repeat outcome since a redesign is in the works. I will review the new product when I receive it.The redesigned product is much improved by them making the foundation pieces with wood rather than particle board that shredded when tightened. My 15 lb cat has been using it for several days and there has been no need to tighten it since it is now solid. Customer Service was true to their word and sent me the new model free of charge and as soon it was available for sale. I highly recommend this product. Thank you AGYM!!
