Great for making home brew to find out your alcohol content of your brew. I gave it 4 stars because it only has the plato equation and not the standard.

For maple syrup, I still use a thermometer to get a rough idea of when it’s time to check the brix level. Then I use this tool only. No more messy hydrometer and stainless steel cup to clean. One drop of maple syrup, wipe it after the reading and you’re done. Should have bought more this years ago.

I can't say much about accuracy as I have no reference point, but the chart is easy to read and the calibration is straightforward using water.

El producto se ve de buen material y cuenta con todo lo mostrado en la publicación. El estuche es de plástico y realicé algunas mediciones, ya venía calibrado e hice dos mediciones con un refresco el cual mostró los grados brix que indicaba la bebida, también con una marca de leche pero dió un valor doble de lo que el empaque decía. Si hago otras pruebas las comentaré más adelante.
