So... doing latched in tower work... for some reason we only had 6 foot lines.So get this, and now I can move the full distance of the tower.It locks so hard... like it jerks hard and stops fast.But that is good. I have no doubt that this will hold me.But I do hope to never actually find out.

For my three story house, this was a must to even think about me getting up there for anything. I have anchor points on my roof already, so I needed something light weight to keep me safe. The steel locking aluminum hook was what I needed. Once I hook into my safety harness and then into the hooks on my roof, I feel much more comfortable walking around. The arrester feels well made and gives me good feeling of confidence that if I did fall, it would keep me from falling off the roof. I do like that it is light weight and swivels easily, not impeding my movements. It is not the cheapest, but it is also not the most expensive one out there, but when it comes to safety devices, you don’t want to skimp on price for something that could potentially save your life.

Basic, simple, clean. Energy absorbtion is claimed to be internal, hard to tell without destroying it. I'll believe it until I don't. Included instructions are well done and understandable.
