For as nice as this pencil sharpener looks and works on initial use, I've found that after 2-3 pencils or even sometimes just 1 pencil I can't sharpen anymore because the unit quits. Best I can tell its due to heat but in the middle of winter and a house kept cool and a device barely used it is truly unacceptable that both of my children can not sharpen their pencils one right after the other without first waiting 10 minutes in between for the device to cool...which btw barely even feels warm.

The pencil sharpener is used by second graders and holds up well to continual classroom use. The selector for "sharpness" doesn't seem to make a consistent difference. The quality of the sharpen is good and works well for my second graders.This sharpener was primarily purchased for sharpening colored pencils. The sharpener handles this task well and doesn't seem to interfere with the sharpener's performance.*I do let the second graders use the sharpener independently.

I'm having to return. I'm trying to photograph the pug thing. I've never seen a plug like it, I to like bits of metal sticking out with holes in. Can't be legal in the uk. Looks as dangerous as hell. Must be something made for some country where electric gadgets double as population control. But more than this, if I buy something I don't want to be paying more money to use it .DONT BUY.

I purchased this sharpener a little over a year ago for use in my classroom and it worked great until it just completely stopped working! I contacted customer service and after troubleshooting a bit, it still would not work so they replaced it for free. I was very impressed with the speed of the service and receiving the replacement. I was hesitant to go back to this brand, but now I would not think twice about it!

This is a high quality product. The pencils sharpen well. This is far better than the competing products that I have bought and returned to Amazon. This is the best of the best.

This is a nice heavy duty pencil sharpener and works very well. It is quick and stops when the pencil is sharp. It does not break my pencils either.

Our electric sharpener wore out after 20 + years in service. The new one looks good and has three sharpening levels. Hope it sharpens my colored pencils better that any of the other sharpeners I have.

This sharpener works wonderfully. It isn’t terribly long lived…2yrs is the longest this sharpener has lasted for me. I will keep coming back for another, though, as it’s the best I’ve found…..

It functions very well for what it’s worth! I got this cause I needed something to have on stand by and this was just a life saver for the still life drawings I’m working on. 👍🏽
