I purchased this product as my old knobs deteriorated, foil covering plastic finally wrinkled and plastic part where it attaches to post broke. they did last about 12 years though. I ordered this product as they were described as " Exterior Finish Stainless Steel". Although they didn't fit the posts to well they sure looked great. We decided to clean the oven and the heat on the front of the stove wrinkled the foil and melted the plastic on the connection to the post to turn on a burner. Thought I ordered a Stainless Steel knob. Lasted one day

A near perfect tight fit. These are stainless steel and not plastic.

I replaced the original knobs on my LG range with these replacement pieces. As others have said, the only think missing is the "Superboil" scale on the one knob but they work great. Tight fit to the stalk on the range and easy to read. The only complaint would be that they are much more "Chrome" in finish than the originals which were more of a muted stainless steel appearance. Small preference on my end but so far, they are terrific.

These fit my stove better than any others I've tried. They aren't perfect, but so far get 5 stars from me.Let's face it: The knobs on LG gas ranges really stink. This includes the factory original knobs and replacement knobs. They are all bad.The factory ones fit well, but the foil wrap with the labels both bubble and peal off. Replacement knobs generally don't fit right.I've bought knobs for my stove at least 4 to 6 times in the past 7 years. Using the exact same part number, I've seen knobs that are loose, go on upside down, or simply won't go on. It is a major headache. The most common problem with replacement knobs is that there isn't a stop inside the stem to limit how far the knob will go on. This makes it impossible to turn the gas on. The stem on the valve must be depressed about a quarter of an inch before you can turn the knob. Most replacement knobs bottom out rubbing the stove frame, preventing the valve stem from going in. I've cut dowel pieces and dropped them inside the knobs as a work around to that problem. Also most replacement knobs loosen up and turn freely after one year's use. Those are scary because you can't turn the gas off. Guests at my house even called the fire department because of the oder of gas because the valve wasn't turned off.The knobs in this review fit very snuggly. They have a stop inside so that the knob cannot be pushed on too far. I hope they are snug enough to not loosen up in a year from now.My only complaint (for my stove) is that the knobs don't go on quite far enough, and look kind of dumb sticking out a half inch farther than they need to.

These knobs were fantastic for my LG 3085 ST oven. I had been looking for replacement knobs for quite sometime and were unable to find something that fit and have some weight. These happen to be the ones that worked. The D-shape knobs were a tight fit, but I believe they were made that way for a reason. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend them to others. They do stick out a little more then the original knobs, but hardly noticeable. Great product and great price!

Pros: These arrived fairly quickly and appear to be good quality. Fits LG LDG3036ST.Observations: they are very shiny (chrome finish, rather than aluminum). As others have stated, they are a really tight fit, but seem functional. They sit a bit farther out than the OEM knobs (1/4"?), but this is not a real issue.I do not know the longevity, but they were not that expensive, and solved an immediate problem (i.e. 3 out 5 knobs were broken).Being as these are sold as a set of 5, having a complete set with one labeled as 'Super Boil' would have been nice.I have not tried to disassemble the old or new knobs yet (2 screws appear that they might hold these together). Would simply disassembling and reassembling them 'upside down' fix the upside down issue some are having? For those whose 'super boil' knob broke, can a Frankenstein knob be made from half old and half new?

It a better substitute to the crappy OEM knobs that are on the stove. I am not sure whether it depends on the model but even though they fit perfectly, the orientation of the "D" insert is upside down so the "OFF" print on the knob is facing down... :(I do not know if this is a quality probem or that the knob is for a different model that uses this orientation. For now, I prefer the upsidedown knobs over the OEM knobs that are falling apart. I am looking at buying silver tape for a Brother label printer and maybe print a new stickers. In the mean time, if you are looking at buying these or any other knob for that matter, do a little research to make sure these are for your stove/oven model.
