Your cart is empty. The WB03T10236 Surface Burner Black Knob is a direct replacement for the cooktops on your Kitchen. It lets you control the heat of the surface burner on the cooktop. No tools are required to complete this repair, simply pull on the knob until it pops off, and fit the new knob onto the shaft.

2. Will not turn

Exactly like the original knobs. Terrific purchase to replace damaged knobs. When you install them you need to use a little muscle to push them onto the stem. They are secure and perfect.

Unlike other reviewers, I found the metal pieces that need to be removed so this knob fits my stove were not removable. I ruined two knobs trying so now I can’t even return this purchase. The metal piece is either solidly wedged in place and/or glued in place. Do not buy these knobs unless they are the exact knob needed for your stove.

Like others here I could not get these knobs to go on the shafts of my GE stove burner controls--the fit was too tight. But then I noticed that there was a metal bushing in the stem of knob. I pulled the bushings out with needle nose pliers and the knobs fit on perfectly. I don't know if this makes them less durable and it certainly makes me hesitant to recommend them to others, but at least these knobs work now. And they're a lot less $ than the original part.UPDATE: two of the four became soft from the oven heat and no longer gripped the control shaft. I reordered *this exact same part* and the metal bushing *was no longer removable*. I'm revising my 3 star review to 1 star.
