This vest is well made, well balanced and is the only one of several 20lb weight vests that I tried that can be snugged up to fit a 5’ 3” 105 lb female such that it doesn’t slip and slide while wearing. Other brands and styles in the 20lb range are simply too big for smaller folks. The metal “sand” ’has an odor but I understand that is true of all the vests due to chemicals needed to prohibit rust of the sand. It does improve some over time and becomes mostly unnoticeable after a couple of weeks of wear. Also this vest is one of the few that was actually the true weight stated in the description and not under it.Finally, I like the idea that I can lower the weight if I want to as well if I need to back off my training due to injury or something. I have recommended this vest to friends.

LOVE this vest! I use it 5-7 x a week at the gym and it has increased my cardio workout! I love the ease of putting the weight bags in the vest and it fits well! Very happy with the purchase!

I found the vest difficult to put on and the odor had a strong chemical smell. I had to return it because I could not imagine working out with the odor.

**Edited review. Yes the vest has a chemical smell, the seller immediately reached out and made it right. I have been airing the vest out and I’m hopeful the smell will subside in time. The vest fits great and is very comfortable.One of the weighted bags has a tear in it and the vest has a chemical smell. I will try to air it out and see if the smell subsides.

Great that you can add and remove weights at your discretion. Unfortunately returning item as mesh pocket for personal items not stitched completely leaving a hole. Returning this one and reordering. Also has a chemical smell that I hope will disappear when aired out well.

I know this shows that it is intentionally heavy to improve your cardio experience during sports or workouts, but gosh golly is it heavy! I could hardly lift the box to get it inside when it was delivered!I love how well made it is, and how good it feels to the touch. I feel so much lighter whenever I take it off! I looked for a while trying to find a vest that looked like it would be comfortable for a woman with boobs to wear while walking. This vest did not disappoint. It wears evenly and the ability to adjust the weight is very nice. It does have a couple of pockets, enough for a phone and maybe a set of keys. What I wanted it for it has served its purpose very well. I wear it for about an hour a day.
