Been looking for awhile for a raincoat for my golden retriever. This is an awesome raincoat. The measurements are accurate. I like the over the head and the straps that come from under and velcro on top of the dog. Great design.

Excellent dog coat. Elasticated leg straps to keep the coat in place. Nice fit.We have been out in very heavy downpours and the dogs have kept dry.The coat is lightweight and breathable. Excellent value for money.

Maggie is a lab mix and very long. Use the chart to make sure you get the right size. I ordered the XX large and it fits her perfectly. The quality of this raincoat is outstanding. I highly recommend trying this for your dog!

I have a big gsd with very wide ribcage and this fits very well. I’ve had trouble finding a raincoat that really protects his chest and it that he feels comfortable in it. Well this works so well i got it in two colors. It is water resistant and very light. My dog does not complain at all!

I think it would have been a nice coat, and it fit over her head well, but it wasn't long enough for her. It left several inches uncovered. I did like how it went over her neck. It was easy to get on. I'll be returning and will keep looking since it wouldn't keep all of her dry!

Pup: KVD (Jindo/Akita), 37lbsCoat Size: LWell, I definitely found the perfect coat for my pup, finally! I've tried so many. I'm buying two more of these to rotate/as backups. It feels quite well made with solid seams and no lose threads. The amount of adjustability is great. It definitely seems to do its job and not curl up like others when wet, though I won't know for sure until I take it out in the rain a few more times, which will be only a day or two here in Seattle. Pup isn't keen on things that go over her head but I couldn't find another coat that checked so many other boxes without a hood so I went with this... so far it's worth the extra wiggling to get it on since the coat works so well for her. Also works well with the harness on the outside (which she prefers so I go with it). She hates leg straps so I didn't even try them and will be cutting them off.While not really a contributing factor to the review, I'll add that I live in a townhome complex with a ton of dogs and within 2 minutes of leaving the house, I had 3 different neighbors say it was an awesome coat and ask where they could get one so yeah, its a good-looking, good-coverage coat!My pup has weird measurements and it's hard to fit her properly so here's more detailed info in case it helps anyone else with a similar issue! TL;DR: Go with the appropriate "Body Length" measurement and adjust the rest...She's is very long, tall, and thin, with kind of a barrel chest that's bigger proportionally than the rest of her but small for her length when I try to fit both. Her tail is also naturally curled upwards. So if something fits in one or two places, it usually causes issues elsewhere. On the size chart for this raincoat, I went primarily by the "Body Length" measurement since she needs coverage on her back the most in the rain and that put her in the L size. The XL would have given a couple more inches for guaranteed coverage over her butt but that doesn't work with her tail so I had to play it safe. So in the L, she just *barely* fit into the "Recommended Pet Chest Girth" measurement and the "Neck Girth" measurement would be quite a bit too big. But that's better than too small so I gave it a shot. It actually ended up fitting her quite well. The amount of adjustability on the chest made that part a non-issue and being able to cinch both neck closures keeps the rain out even though there is some extra room up there. So I'd say go with the "Body Length" measurement first and chest adjustability will probably cover any discrepancies there. You really just have to watch the neck measurement to make sure it's not too *small*, but too big should also be covered by adjustability. I think! Good luck!

I ordered one size up from the recommendation of the size chart after reading some of the reviews regarding length. My 20 month old German Shepherd is very tall, very long and still quite skinny. This XXLarge raincoat fits perfectly around the neck and is easy to put on. The part that comes down the front has straps that reach up over the back from under the belly. The straps come over the back and secure with a wide 8 inch long Velcro strip, providing excellent adjustability. The raincoat reaches where his tail begins, his back is 31 inches long. Nice quality material of good weight and flexibility. The neck opening is also adjustable. My dog accepted it readily.Very pleased with this purchase. The item is well priced.

I bought 3 different sizes for my 3 dogs of different body types. 2 of them are chihuahua wiener dogs and the last in a full grown pitbull. For the chiweenies one has a more stocky build and the other is long & narrow but they both fit the medium size.The pitbull got two different sizes XL and 2XL, the XL was a decent fit around the chest and since he wears it over his harness it looked tighter but the fit was ok & short over his back and would ride up while he walked. The 2XL was loose so we got to fasten the strap a bit tighter for him but it covered his back better. It was actually too long and had to do a bit of modification so it wouldn’t cause a mess while going #2.The rain jackets themselves are of good quality, thin water resistant material but not like a cheap poncho. It doesn’t stretch or rip. They don’t have a hood but a long neck piece that you can tighten up, which is awesome for my dogs since they all hate hoods and would shake them off. I live in the PNW so rain is common and these jackets are great so far, we haven’t had a super heavy rain but from sprinkles to average rainfall it had kept my dogs bodies dry. The elastics around the hind legs are hit and miss. Two of the jackets would have one elastic that was longer/stretched out and I had to shorten it for a better hold. The reflective strips are very thin and honestly more for design than functionality.The only other con I have is how short it is. I wish it was longer so walking didn’t push it up, even them having their tails up would push it up.

I have a large Golden retriever/Labradoodle and we live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot. My dog has a thick coat so really was looking for something that would just keep him dry and not nece4ssarily keep him warm. This product fits the bill. Love the royal blue color and the XXXL size fits him perfectly and he does not mind wearing it at all and best of all, he stays dry. I would highly recommend this product.
