It's loose in the hitch. It's about a 1/4 inch to small.

Adjustable for many vehicles and made of solid material. Looks nice, does have a rattle so you will need to order a anti rattle device if that is a concern. Well worth the money.

Love the hitch and the way it looks needs a way to stop in from rattling when you have it installed. I have the receiver rubber pads on the 2.5 in part that fits in the receiver but the hitch part with the ball mounts rattle like crazy when not hooked up .I just remove mine from truck and install it when I need it. I wish I could hear it but other than the rattle a awesome hitch.

I like the look of the aluminum construction. Easy adjustment although I think I will replace the locking pins with something simpler that I wonât lose the keys. The attachment of the adjustable ball assembly to the shank does have a fair bit of play that rattles but once I got the trailer weight on it I didnât hear it from inside the truck.

This is well built. I use a 20ft box trailer daily for work. Itâs only about 6 thousand pounds loaded but this drop hitch has been a champ. Itâs well built, super heavy and sturdy and looks good too. Compared to other brands that cost twice as much it is well worth giving a try, especially since it also includes two locking pins.

This product is well made and substantial. Itâs about 1/3 the cost of MIUSA comparable products so I took the gamble. Iâve pulled a lot of trailers before and this hitch inspires enough confidence in me to try it.Iâll update this review after I use it to truck a 10,000# trailer across the country.Update:I drove 14 hours from the Midwest to the East Coast towing a 24â trailer. I definitely maxed out the load at 10k lbs, if not more. Not my proudest Towing Reasoning but I had no choice. The brakes on the trailer werenât the greatest, either. In order to stop the truck at idle I had to adjust the gain to maximum.Thoughts:- the Diesel F250 hides a lot of Towing Sins- the hitch held. There were no violent braking events which was good but it held some hard acceleration- Michigan Interstate might as well be a rumble strip- it held on during some violent shaking- ball hitch locked to my trailer a few times during hook up and unhooking. Needed a crowbar but my trailer obviously needs lubricantIâm impressed. The aluminum did take a beating from my crowbar but thatâs what happens when you bang hardened steel into aluminum. Noise wasnât as bad as youâd think for a fit that isnât tight into the hitch receiver of your truck. Pins held. No stress marks. Not bad at all. The ball is still tight on the hitch as well.I have hauled a lot of stuff. And Iâd buy this again with confidence.
