KING'S Daughter

The material is strong. As well as rings and buckles. This was rather loose on my girl, even though it was tightened. It is functional, and there is a ring to attach a lead. The color that was available toe was black ( it got dusty, really fast). This was a good value, but different sizes should be available.

Very adjustable which is nice for customizing for your cow. However, calf has been able to run off despite being on some of its smallest settings, will try to use again when she gets a little older. Material is sturdy nylon. Overall happy with it, I think it just isn't one that will work well for calves.

The only issue is that it took way too long to get to us so we couldn't use it for a memorial display for our loved one who was a dairy farmer. So that was a big bummer. But the halter itself is good. It would be nice to have a buckle for easy on and off. Adjusting every time is a pain cause it's not a time-saver. But we'll still put it to good use in 4H.

This is a very high quality halter. It is at least, if not better. quality than, some of my better horse halters. The nylon strapping is heavy. It has decent hardware, which is all welded closed at the seams and it seems to be well sewn. This would be a great halter for a kid in 4-H raising a calf as a project because the halter will adjust as the calf's head grows in size, eliminating the need to purchase multiple size halter's, except perhaps for the final showing halter. I did not order this halter for a cow. I adjusted it down to the smallest size to see if I could make it work on a pygmy goat, but the goat is not full grown yet. The halter is still to big to use on the goat right now. I think it would work on a larger breed goat. It might be too heavy for a dwarf or pygmy. The other disadvantage to using it on a goat is that there really are NO REAL BUCKLES. It is a totally sewn together closed system. So, you have to loosen everything up and feed the goat through the halter, then tighten everything back up again. I did not think of that. At some point, I will fit it to the goat and sew a buckle or two on it at the appropriate place or places. This is minor, considering how much time it would take me to sew something together like this completely from scratch on a regular sewing machine. If the manufacturer could come up with a good no-escape goat harness made as well as this halter, I would buy it.

This halter is well made and easy to adjust. It was quick to get to fit our cow. She doesn't seem to mind it so we can both recommend this halter.

Wrong size. Way too big for a calf or miniature Zebu. No buckle either. Good made quality. Ordered wrong thing.
