I purchased this set for a twin bed for my 3-yr old granddaughter to use for sleepovers here. This will be fine for most mattresses, however, the one I have on this bed is a little thicker, so the height of these side rails is not very high. I believe it should be ok, however, as she does not toss or move around much when she sleeps, and we do have an option of changing out the existing mattress for a thinner one if we find it does not work as expected. Otherwise, the product seems very good. Weights and straps along with body weight help hold the side rails in place. This also makes changing the sheets a lot more difficult, especially with my bad back, but the weights and straps are not mandatory for use.... just a nice safety precaution. I had to deduct a star for the lack of height and difficulty with sheet changing. This was probably designed by the same man who used to put washing machines in the basements of houses and has never changed the sheets on a bed in his life.

I was so bummed out by this product for a few reasons.1: We have a standard, low profile twin bed. The buttons that are supposed to secure the rail at one of two heights are compressed between the bed frame and the mattress causing them to always be open and unable to stay secure at any specific height. I almost feel I got a product that was manufactured backwards?2: the straps to secure the the rails to the mattress are cumbersome to use and require two people.3: the rails bubble the foam mattress and cause an arch in the middle due to the fact that it cannot lay flat anymore. Because of this, the mattress is not longer securely fitted in the bed frame and could slide around with any given amount of movement.4: the instructions leave much to be desired, they are too concise and unclear.

These were perfect to add to the transition for my daughter from toddler bed to a “big girl” bed. The extra caution was needed because of the height of her bed. They’re sturdy and easy to assemble. They match perfectly with her bed frame. No complaints.

Super pleased! Fit my daughters twin bed night and snug. She’s always done very well staying towards the top of her bed so I didn’t feel the need to get the extra long rails. These are short and I can see how they may not be right for some kids.I do like also that the rails are a little shorter. Our previous rail was very oddly tall and it was tough toLean over to give her a kiss goodnight. These I feel are perfect. Tall enough to contain her but not too tall to be no functional.

We purchased this product to replace an existing set of bed rails that are getting worn out from years of use. Packaging was good. Quality of the item was great but it wasn’t tall enough for our daughter’s full sized mattress and wouldn’t work to prevent a fall. It does say in the description that it’s not to be used for mattresses higher than 4” so it would be better for a small toddler bed.

The price was okay but of course you know I'm a bargain shopper so it could have went down so for me but it's easy to install I thought that I would have trouble doing it but and I'm 67 years old and I did it by myself so that tells you right there when you reaching for the baby though it's kind of hard seem like if there is a pad or something you can put over it it would be nice

The product is highly priced. There is no cushioning around the rods which could hurt the child
